This story is about a special boy named William H Bonney. He had helped me a lot in hard times. We loved and hated each other. Sometimes love can be different (When you see it from a screen). William and I's love was difficult. It would be hard to realize that we loved each other, but maybe he knew he did. Maybe I even knew but maybe i just wanted to hide it. Well here is the story:

The day had begun for her. Her father Mr Murphy had been planning a wedding for her even though he knew she didn't want to marry someone she didn't know. Besides the man was 15 years older than her. She was only seventeen years old.

"Ophelia. Mr Clifton is going to be here soon so ya might have to get up now." Her father shouted down from the living room. "Also I will be leaving in five minutes, so you can have some alone time." She groaned pulling herself up from her bed. "Alright Father." She said loud. She had a plan of course. She wasn't going to be here alone with him. One time when she had sneaked out of the house she bought more comfortable clothes. Pants and a shirt I mean. Dresses were not practical. She couldn't run a' be free in them. She also couldn't ride her horse and the only reason she had that horse was, because she had convinced her Father to get her one.

Her father of course knew she was different from the other ladies around town. She didn't do what they did like knitting and crocheting. Making dresses and hats wasn't exactly her talent. She did know how to sew them back in place if they ripped apart. But she didn't know how to make them from scratch. Her girlishness if you can call it that, wasn't exactly the best out of all the galls in town. She liked archery and gun fighting. She knew how to use them, but she didn't have one for herself.

Some of her plan was to get a gun from her father to "protect herself". Really she wanted it to shoot Mr Clifton. She really hated the man. Once she had heard him talking to her father about her. Saying how she would be a perfect gall to carry his children. As if, she would never want that. Even if she met a perfect bachelor it wouldn't happen. Also she was an only child so she had no one to continue the bloodline. That wasn't her problem though. She knew she would let her ancestors down if she didn't continue the bloodline.

"Ugh this man doesn't need to marry me Father." She said loud while putting on her blouse and a long skirt with an underskirt to hide her legs. Her father was really on about hiding her body parts away from other folks sight. "No discussion. You're marrying him and you will do it willingly." He shouted harshly. "Now are you dressed?" He asked. She opened the door and walked down the stairs. "Yes Father." She replied with her head down. All she wanted to do was run away and hide. She had heard about John's men.

That they were once criminals, now they are men under education. She wished she was able to be under education like them. Learn how to read and count. That wasn't an option for her though. Marriage was the only option so far. She didn't want her innocence to go to waste. "Mr Clifton" was never going to marry her and she knew it. Her full plan was to flee from home and seek shelter at Mr Tunstalls house for the regulators. That would mean she had to sneak out of the windows, while Mr Clifton was distracted. After that she would take her horse and ride down to the education house. But that was not how it all went.

This is what really happened.

(Ophelias pov) "Ophelia, he's here and I'm heading out. Behave I will know if you don't." My father shouted. Not too loud, but loud enough for me to hear. " Whatever." I shouted back a little louder, but not loud enough to be a scream. The door closed. I assumed it was my father.

I was packing my pants and the shirt in a bag that could be around her waist. "Ophelia? Where are you?" I could hear the man my father had set me up with. "Shit." I whispered to myself. "Uhm I'm not dressed stay out there." I shouted. He did stay out there. I put my boots into the bag and then I got the thought. There was a window down in the kitchen where I was. I could crawl out and ride to John Tunstalls home. But first I would have to change, maybe I could do that when I came to the place.
So I crawled out the open window and jumped down. Now I had to get to Johns home.

After I had jumped out I realized that my horse was in the barn next to my dads meeting place. How would i be able to get her. So I sneaked past the house and into the barn. As I sneaked into the barn I could hear some voices. "Fuck!" I mumbled. Now I would definitely get caught. I had to make an emergency escape. As the voices came closer and closer, I had to make a run for it. Suddenly the voices disappeared. "Great." I mumbled.

" What's so great m' lady?" Someone said behind me. I quickly turned around to see a boy not short, but taller then me. I quickly started to back up. " Woah sweetheart I won't harm you." The boy assured me. I stayed quiet. " Not much of a talker huh?" He said.
"Well I'm William, or Billy if ya like." He introduced himself as he reached his hand out for me. I stood still to assure he wouldn't take me back to my father.
" Are ya lost? I know a man who will help. John Tunstall. Ya know him?" When he said that I finally said something.

"Yeah, I was looking for him." I finally replied. " Well then sweetheart ya are in luck. Do ya want to join us for dinner?" William asked holding his arm out for me to grab. I took it, but didn't want to reply. This was my luck. I met a boy named William who could get me to John. Now Mr Clifton had no chance of marrying me. Like he ever would anyway.
