Eclipse POV
The control room went quiet. We knew Earth had humans, so we weren't alone alone. But to know someone was actually waching us... It felt weirder, a bit more threatening. We weren't entirely sure of what to do. Flare suggested we all take the evening to ourselves, process the information. I sit at my desk and look out the window. Siege wanted to look at our map again and Solar went to the holonet, more than likely trying to find more information. Flare joined Harmony in the recroom. Wavelength was back in his room. Were these bots a threat? I doubted it... or at least I hoped they weren't. Another cybertronian presence would explain the empty safes. But who would have access to Uncle Thundercrackers maps? Other than Sire and Uncle Starscream?
I shake my helm. The cons long left the known space. The nights where Uncle Thundercracker would tell us stories about the end of the war. The Autobots successfully killed Megatron and saved Earth. The seekers fled with Shockwave and Soundwave, taking what Decepticon medics they could. Those left behind were thrown in the brigs. Recovery on Cybertron began. There were small territory disputes between the Autobots and the Seekers. Vos was eventually given back to them and the arguing stopped. It didn't take long for Megatron to show up again, back from the dead. Possessed by Unicron himself... The Seekers were sealed and trapped within New Vos, a select few were taken to become Unicrons newest army. My Sire and Uncles were some of the few. Soundwave and Shockwave as well. Optimus had rile up an entirely new army, not as many were able to join this time. With Cybertron finally stabilizing, now with markets and towns again, most had tried settling down to form families or livelihoods. Ironically, Optimus was one of those families. Him and his sparkmate had just forged Solars first frame and placed his spark into it.
Unicron gave waste to destruction everywhere he went. Rumors of Uncle Starscream setting up a plan to rescue Megatron from his enslavement had started circling the planet. Sure and Uncle Thundercracker were his right servos in this. There were two others. Sire doesn't talk about them much. Siege thinks one of them was our carrier. It makes sense. The three of us were born shortly after all of this. Flare likes to think the other was Windblade. A City Speaker from before and after the war. She had gone missing sometime during the final years of the war. Some thing it sabotage, other think it was a simple was casualty. I like to think she found something and followed it. Even still, whatever they had planned, left our carrier crippled and Starscream on his death berth. Optimus finally met up with Uncle Thundercracker and the two hatched a new plan. Unicron was loosing interest in Megatrons frame. He had built up enough energy to pull together his own frame. If that happened, Cybertron would fall again.
A new type of bomb was built. Decepticons and Autobots together had to work as one team to build it. In the final battle, even that proved to be nearly fruitless. Within the final hour of the final battle for Cybertron, something happened to Optimus's sparkmate. And Solar never met her. Ratchet had to help his brother raise him. Megatron went into isolation after that. A year or so after, half the seekers, Shockwave, Soundwave, and half the Decepticons vanished. Uncle Starscream and Windblade with them. Sire and Uncle Thundercracker took their brother leaving pretty hard.
Even still, there was no reason for the Decepticon to remain here on Earth, if they stopped by in the first place. My audios picked up Wavelength starting a training session. He was born shortly after Solar. No one knows who Magness got with or why he ended up carrying Wavelengths spark in his own spark chamber. Or for how long. He always got defensive about it. Technically the carrier class could carry a new spark for about 8 years in emergencies. 10 however was pushing it. Siege, Flare and I were born last. Our carrier didn't make it. Seems we all had "tragic" stories. Harmony included. Then again, none of us saw it that way. We were still raised happy, at least for the most part. We had support systems of our own that worked.
An alert on my computer pulled me from my thoughts. Sighing, I pull it up. A system update. Nothing important it seemed. Routine system check and review. Annoying, but needed. I go through the computers report and clear it. Siege left the room, powering off his station for the night. I could hear Flare and Harmony leave for their rooms. Solar went to his an hour later. Different Earth regions continued to show up on my screen. Maps of rivers, caves, forests, elevations, and others all downloaded into a file. It's possible we would need these later. The clock ticked closer to midnight. I needed to recharge. I'm fairly confident Wavelength has left for his room as well. That is until I heard his pedsteps leave the ship. My audios perk. What was he doing at this time of night?
I power off my station and look out into and hallway. He already left. Rolling my optics I follow suit. Didn't he remember it was risky going out there?
"Wavelength?" I whisper shout after him.
He didn't respond. Of course he didn't! He's stubborn when he wants to be. I speed walk after him as he vanished into the woods. Was he paranoid about the sensor they found? It sounded like him. It's sound like one of his- My peds freeze. It sounded like on of his simulations... What had Wavelength seen?
