Ren is woken up in the middle of the night by a quietly crying Nora lightly shaking him. He turns to face her, and concern immediately floods his eyes, and he pulls her into his bed next him. "What's wrong, princess?"
Nora curls up in his arms as he holds her close, and Ren looks up to check on Jaune and Pyrrha. Pyrrha's awake, looking down from the top bunk, a concerned look on her face. She mouths a single sentence to Ren, offering him a supporting smile. 'You got this.' She nods, and lays back down, turning her back to the pair.
Ren lets Nora cry into his shoulder for a while, and when she whispers her explanation, it's short, and Ren doesn't ask any questions. "I had a nightmare..."
Ren's eyes had several emotions pass through them, but the ones that stayed were care and understanding. He pulled her closer, into his lap, and held her tightly. "It's okay...I'm right here for you, my princess."
Nora held onto Ren as if she was scared she were going to lose him. After some time, Ren felt her muscles relax, and she pulled away from the embrace to look at Ren. "Thank you, Lie..." Nora smiles as she looks into his eyes, and she leans in and gently kisses him. Ren returns her kiss, keeping it slow and sweet.
When their lips part, Nora smiles, and Ren pulls her down to lay next to him. Ren pulls her close against his chest, and smiles as he feels her breathing even out as she drifts off to sleep. Ren smiles softly, and eventually falls asleep next to her.
