Julia
"YOU DID WHAT?"
This can't be happening.
"Oh come on it's just one date"
No.
"So what you're saying is that you set me up for a date, with a guy, who is known as a player and who I have never talked to?",I snapped at Indy who was sitting on her bed in front of me grinning like a child.
"Yes, but he's not a player".
"And how would you know?"
"Calm down Julia, he's a great guy and wouldn't hurt a fly", Mia said.
Mia and I have been friends since kindergarten. As kids we would do everything together but she had to move away a few years ago. Nowadays we would see once in a while but I felt like I didn't know her anymore.
And the guy we are talking about is Trevor. He's known as the biggest fuck boy in our school, but somehow Indy had completely missed that and now I have been turned into his next victim.
"So I got his number for you so you can plan out the date and place", Indy said.
"What if I don't want to go?"
"Julia stop being so god damn difficult and just agree".
"Or is there someone else that we don't know about?"
I stayed quiet for a moment. There was no way that I would say a word about Vic. Not yet.
"No", I blunted out.
"That's what we thought", "Just take his number and we'll leave you alone. For today at least".
And just like they said they left leaving me alone with Trevor's number in my hands on a small piece of paper. This day couldn't get any worse from here at least.
And before you ask; "Why didn't you just say you had someone else in mind?", well that is a great question. I'm not ready to say anything about Vic because I don't know really anything about her. Yes she is my tutor. Yes we've spent quite a lot time together during the past two weeks but If I'm really honest, she's just "a hallway crush". I don't know if she even likes me. I don't know if she has someone else.
I don't even know her real name!
As I was starting to question everything my phone got a notification.
Vic: -Do you happen to like cinnamon rolls?
I stare at the message in slight confusion. Why cinnamon rolls?
I reply: "yes?"
Vic:-If you want you can come over since dad got obsessed with baking and now we have too many cinnamon rolls for the two of us.
"Okay then I'll come over:)"
I got up from my bed and make my way to my closet. I picked out some flared jeans, a black tank top and a green knitted cardigan that I had gotten from my grandma as a Christmas gift last year.
As I'm getting dressed I hear my phone go off. Vic sent me her address.
I type the address to maps as I'm waking down the stairs. Thankfully mom is asleep so I won't have to explain anything to her.
The walk from my house to Vic's wasn't more than 15 minutes. The weather wasn't too warm anymore as autumn had taken over summer and the leaves had started to turn various different colors and patterns.
Soon enough I was standing in front of a huge blue house that wasn't like the other houses in the neighbourhood. It looked a lot older than all the other houses and had way more details carved to the window sills.
