"I love you, Noelle." His voice kept repeating in her head, like a vinyl record spinning around forever, as she stepped outside of the hospital tears were falling from her face, she looked out from her sorrow.

The town was in chaos; ambulances were frantically rushing to the hospital, cars were either abandoned or ablaze. There were people running in the street, trying to get away from something. Noelle wandered through the chaos, avoiding nearly being hit by a swerving car as it slammed into the Library, striking someone.

What's going on- I- I need to call Mom.. She stood near the wreck, she took out her flip phone and dialled her Mom's number, only to be met by silence. Suddenly, a familiar figure emerged from the chaos. "Noelle? A- Are you hurt?" She looked up to face the figure, it was Officer Undyne clad in her blue uniform. But, she was covered in dust and what seemed to be blood. "N- No, I- I'm okay.. I just, I need to find my Mom-" Noelle said, anxiously. "Last I saw her; Cla- Your Mom was helping people take refuge in the Town Ha-" She was abruptly cut-off by a loud shockwave, it rippled throughout the small community like a nuclear bomb.

Following it; a bright pillar of light emerged from the south. Blinding the evening sky, Undyne's hat flew away in the air, smoke soon poured from it.
Screams and explosions erupted from across the town as the evening sky began to darken and snow began to fall.
Noelle felt a wave of realisation wash over her. "We need to go!" She shouted at Undyne, panicking. The duo passed by numerous people; confused and desperate. A few person, had taken to robbing a nearby computer store, another group, lead by Toriel and Alphys was trying to shelter people in the school. Undyne and Noelle just passed them, desperate to get off the street and away from the oncoming calamity.

Entering the Town Hall; they found it to be in a state of disaster. Emergency relief workers were desperately trying to set up a shelter, while people were hounding the receptionist to where the Mayor was. Noelle hurried over to the reception desk, while Undyne went to help some relief workers set up sleeping bags.

"H-Hello.." She tried to get the receptionist's attention, but the hand monster was busy attending to several other people. "Hello!" Noelle yelled bluntly, the words falling out of her mouth. It was unlike her to be so rude, it seemed to her the receptionist's attention. "If it's about your Mother then; like I keep telling these people, I don't know where she is! So, please leave me alone so I can try and call federal authorities!"
Noelle returned to Undyne, we can't stay here.. What about the- An idea popped into her head. Noelle turned to the sea of people. "Excuse me!" She shouted. "Excuse me!" The crowd turned to her. "This, disaster. It isn't what you think, if we don't get underground as soon as possible. Our fate will be worse than death." She had found the courage to speak out.
"Where do we go?!" Someone in the crowd shouted out. Noelle recalled the old fallout shelter on the edge of town, it could keep us safe until this passes.. If this passes.. "There's an old bunker on the edge of town- We can stay here until this ends, we need to go as soon as possible. So, please whoever's coming. Pack your stuff now!" Noelle called, and as she finished people began to pack up. The hand receptionist got up from her chair, and joined her Undyne returned and with her a group of at least forty people gathered to her.
