19 years later in the Elf kingdom

The night was cold as Lunacrest stood looking out the window, she was holding a letter in her hands. The young princess had grown to be very beautiful and strong in magic. But yet she had no idea of who she really was, her shiny blue eyes looked up at the moon and she smiled softly. She fiddled with her silver necklace that she had worn since she was a baby, her short brown hair hung around her face gently.
"I need to get out of here." She whispered quietly as she packed her stuff.
She had received a letter from the king of the elves inviting her to come and stay at the palace there.

She was best friends with his daughter from a young age and she was happy to accept and be with her friend once again.
She packed the rest of her things and left a note, she quietly walked out of the bedroom and smiled at the boy who was fast asleep.
"I'm sorry Marcus." She whispered quietly, kissing his cheek.
She grabbed her cloak pulling it over her face as she looked around one last time, she left without saying a word. Lunacrest walked through the village she grew up in, no one knew where she came from all they knew was that she was left with a note at the doorstep of the orphanage.

The sun began to rise as she made it to the edge of the village, she looked back one more time before finally disappearing into the forest. She continued to walk down a faded path as the sun was now slowly rising, Lunacrest was heading to the elf kingdom where she had friends.
As the day slowly passed by she continued her journey, she had only stopped a few times to eat and rest but she needed to keep going. Lunacrest knew that something was coming, but she didn't know what. She had written to her best friend about how she was feeling, that's when she received a message from the elf king saying she needed to come to the castle immediately.
"Can my life get any more complicated?" She said out loud as she continued to walk.
She could see the top of one of the towers from where she was, her excitement of seeing her best friend filled her body with joy as she picked up her speed running to the first set of gates.
"Who goes there!?" A Guard called out seeing the girl running out from among the trees.

"Lunacrest sir, I was ordered to come here by the king!" She called up to the guard.
As soon as she said those words the gates opened for her, she slipped inside and looked around the Elf village that laid out in front of her. She smiled softly and felt like she was at home again, it's been a few years since she was back and she missed it.
She started to make her way to the castle as she pulled her hood down letting her short dark brown hair fall around her face gently.

Lunacrest dodged elves who looked at her with curiosity, when she made it to the palace gates she showed them the letter and they let her in.
"Luna......"
There was a high pitch squeal as she got tackled to the ground by someone, she couldn't see pass their silver hair till they finally pulled away and helped her up.
Another elf around the same age as Lunacrest smiled happily at her, her light blue eyes scanned her friend making sure she wasn't hurt in anyway.

"Sorry, got a little two excited." She said with a chuckle.
"That's ok Lily, where is your brother?" Lunacrest asked her.
"Probably the library."
Lily took Lunacrest by the hand and pulled her inside the castle, the castle was completely made out of marble stone with amazing details carved into the stone. They were making their way to the throne room, as they did people would bow to Lily as the two passed. Lily stopped before the doors and picked a twig out of Lunacrest's hair.
"Thanks."

"Your welcome." Lily said with a smile.
Lily opened the doors and the two walked in, the room like the rest of the castle was made from marble stone but had gold pillars on the side. There was a Portrait of each of the past royal families, on the other side of the huge room stood two thrones as well as two elves.
"Hello mother, hello father." Lily greeted her parents with a smile as the two young girls walked over.
