Drawing her glock to her chest, finger on the trigger, she kept her back

to the brick wall and slid around the corner. She could feel them, smell them.

Quickly, she held out the gun, readying to fire the thing. Nothing here, but up

ahead in an alley was Adam. Three forms surrounded him, dancing around him like

wolves. The undead. Her breath caught in her throat. It had to be a whole

minute before she let it out. Something inside her said, "Help him, keep him.

Mine." Even though the really wanted to leave him for dead. She approached

them, determination in her blue-grey eyes. Adam tensed, meaning he must of

sensed her coming up behind him.

"I told you to stay in the van." He nearly growled.

"Well, you're not my daddy." She huffed angrily.

"Whatever." He breathed out.

The undead stopped and eyed her. Adam cursed under his breath, "Get out

of here!"

"No, I will not leave you to fight these things." She shouted back.

"I can handle myself." He said.

Whatever, no matter your size, these things were like wolves, they never

stopped until they got what they wanted. Grinding her molars, she stalked

forward. He didn't see her eyes since his back was to her. Good thing. Her eyes

glowed bloody red, black bleeding into the white of her eyes. She jumped the

closest undead, wrapping her fingers around its throat. Gnashing her teeth

together, she fought the urge to feed. Blue and green veins visibly spreaded up

her neck to her face.

Feed. Feed. FEED!!!! The thing underneath her shrieked like a hyena. She

couldn't hold herself back anymore, but before she could take a sweet bite of

the undead, Adam pulled her off and shot it in the head. Blinking, she came

back to reality and nearly screamed.

No! Someone almost saw what she was, what she truly was. She rushed into

a dark corner of the alley, hiding in the shadows that were cast there. Drawing

her knees to her chest and trying desperately to hide her face. Breathe, She

needed to breathe it away.

"Brooklyn..." Adams hand gently landed on her shoulder, making her jerk

from the contact.

"Please...stay away. Give me five minutes." She said in a whisper.
