With a flood of water hitting the earth the rouge Lapis Lazily yelled out in fury, "You destroyed my world and now you'll pay!"

Steven quickly drew his shield. "Let's talk Lapis! I'm sure we can come to a fair compromise!" He yelled out struggling to be heard by the flying water gem.

"Your time to talk is over Pink Steven! I went through your stupid school. I've worked at the idiotic fry shop long enough. It is time for it to end. I'm sick of it, we all are!"

As another attack was brewing an awful loud sound of a helicopter took over the scene. A woman dressed in paragliding uniform jumps out and yells out to the Lapis "Catch me if you can." Challenged my this the Lapis quickly took the bait, chasing the girl around the strawberry field.

While she is properly distracted a coordinated group of women exit the copter via a flimsy ladder and sets up a cannon. "Ready" yelled one of the women on the ground.

The woman in the sky had lured the gem above the cannon. "Set"

"Fire" a loud bang sounded fallowed by a gadget flying out of the cannon. The Lapis was instantly thrown on the ground.

"Now you are done." The group leader informed the gem as she grabbed her and drug her into the helicopter.

The gliding woman had landed next to Steven. "You need to put an ent to this." She said in a rather authoritative voice.

" And how is that? I have no control anymore. They just don't listen!" He exclaimed in frustration.

As the years went on, after the diamond relinquished their spots on the gem thrown, their under grads have started to rebel Steven's attempt at the area 3. More and more gems have joined this rebellion every day for the past 3 years. Militia groups have formed under the government to stop this rebellion, as it is far too dangerous for humans and gems alike.

"Maybe it's your turn to listen. I have heard each and every one of them out. They are confused and bored with this life you have provided them. Turns out total freedom isn't all it's cracked up to be."

Steven looked at her bewildered. " what are you talking about? This is what they wanted."

"They never asked for this. Don't get me wrong. I understand that the live the gems were living before area 3 was awful, but they had structure and they never had to think about the stresses in life. Having absolutely no type of government to support and guide them left them lost and confused. They need the type of support again, Steven. I'm not saying for it to go back to how it was. But I do think the diamonds need to reclaim their thrones and put in place some sort of system. That's all they need and this war can stop." The soldier sighed. "What ever you decide, I hope you understand that this anarchy thing just isn't working, Steven."

With that the soldier commended her team to leave. "Let's go crew"

Steven had thought a lot about his conversation with his most recent acquaintance, commander Amara Bryson. He has retraced his failed attempts of reconciliation with the rebels and tried to remember what exactly had been said. "Maybe she was right" he exclaimed to his wife Connie as they sit on the couch, sharing their 'adult time' after the kids go to bed.

"She makes a point. If you look back in earths history, every attempt at anarchism fails. The country turns into a crime heaven, leading to disaster everywhere." She replied.

"I would need to claim a throne, if this were to happen. Blue, yellow, and white might lean back into old habits if I don't."

"Is that something you are willing to do?"

"We would need to move to home-world with the kids. I would be okay with it if the fighting stops. Although I would not want to take the kids from all the other humans."

"I would be okay with moving as long as we visited at least twice a year." She exclaimed.

With that Steven had fully made up his mind. He knew what had to be done. War is not an option he would ever choose.

————

The next day Steven had took off in his pink legs ship, heading to Home-world. When he proposed the idea of the four of them taking back the throne to the rest of the diamonds they all said no, but after a long day of Steven's persistence they decided to bear him out.

"Let's be honest with each other." Steven starts. "Without mom ruling, I mean really ruling, along side you during era one you were hard on every single gem, including yourselfs. You deemed her childish. Maybe that wasn't a bad thing. She found it easy to connect with their gems and that's because of that childish demeanor. She would have softened your rain of terror. Do we all agree?"

"Well that's not gonna change anything now.  she's gone." Blue stated with a sad tone.

"Yes, but I'm here now."

"Why the sudden change in heart Steven? I thought this is what you wanted?" White questioned?

"It has come to my attention, by commander Amara Bryson, that the rebellion is a direct result of a lack of structure. I'm not saying we should go back to colonizing planets. However, I am suggesting that we form a new type of government where we provide them with that structure and guidance they need.

"With us at the top?" Yellow added without looking up from her hologram screen.

"Exactly. We will provide them with laws and make jobs that are more suitable for gem kind. They will make their I'm choices and run their own life's, as they do now. Just this time they won't be as bored or feel useless, thus ending the rebellion.

"So, you hope that is. What if they don't ex pt the change and it gets worse?" Blue cried out.

"That shouldn't happen if we do it right." Steven then ended the debate with a vote. "All in favor of reclaiming the throne?"

All 4 diamonds raised their right hand in agreement.

————

3 Long days of perfecting the new gem laws, planing our 'rethroneing', and making an entirely new hierarchy had passed by. All 4 gems felt exhausted and ready to call it a rap.

Steven yawned. "Anything else?"

"I would like to make a suggestion" Yellow slightly raised her right hand. " I want that human you spoke of here."

Steven was utterly shocked at declaration.

"What human?" Blue and white asked simultaneously.

Before yellow had a chance to answer Steven interjected. "We have no control over human kind. They are nearly our allies."

"I am fully aware of this, Steven." Yellow rolled her eyes. "I said I wanted her not that I was gonna steal her. I'm not blue." She laughed.

"Hey! That was a different time back then!" Blue giggled.

"I was suggesting that we invite her to live here."

"Who?" White was clearly getting annoyed of not being answered.

Yellow flipped through her notes on her device. " let's see... oh, here it is! Commander Amara Bryson"

"Oh, why her?" Steven questioned.

"Because she holds viable information. She has the insight of the rebellious gems that refuse to speak with us and she seems to have a lot of opinions on our government. Considering she was able to convince you to change your entire way of thinking with just one conversation, I believe she will be quite useful.

"White, Blue, how do you feel?" Steven was meat with to distinct nods. "Alright, I'll get in contact with her." Steven let out another yawn causing weight to giggle.

"All here for dismissal?" White sounded.

"I" all 4 gems agreed to end the royal meeting.
