And so, the Hashira training began for the fellow slayers.

And it would be an understatement to say that the training was brutal.

The first would be Uzui, Mitsuri and Muichiro with gruesome lessons about strength, flexibility, and high-speed movements.

Then, would be Shinobu teaching the slayers battle tactics for when you can't use your sword.

Then came Y/N, who would make them meditate on top of planks placed upon spikes. He would then proceed to hit blows on the Slayers, and they would have to either deflect it, or evade it, while maintaining their place on the plank simultaneously.

Now you might think.

"Hey, Author? How was Y/N, who was a pacifist, intentionally hurting the slayers?"

Well, that's where Shinobu comes in.

She simply told Y/N, that this wasn't exactly "hurting" the slayers, but rather preparing them to protect those who are weaker than them.

Call it twisting the words, but it seemed to have done the trick on sweet little Y/N.

Where was I again? Right.

The next would be swordsmanship training with Obanai, then lessons on making infinite strikes with the swords, courtesy of Sanemi, and finally, Gyomei taking care of core strength.

And just like that, we see multiple people falling down from their planks, or have the air sucked out of their guts.

Y/N: Come on... You can do it! I believe in you...!

The slayers suddenly get all happy and confident, as they get the determination to pass Y/N's test.

But nobody knew that this whole confident and happy talk was just to prepare them for Sanemi's training.

Y/N suddenly hears a voice as he sees that Tanjiro had arrived for his training.

Y/N: Grab a plank and meditate, Tanjiro.

Tanjiro nods as he starts to meditate while maintaining Total Concentration breathing, as he suddenly deflects a hit from out of nowhere.

Y/N smiles as he lands on the ground. He turns to Tanjiro.

Y/N: Good job. Since you can deflect basic breathing style strikes, I suppose it's time I use Total Concentration, yeah?

The slayers give out a collective fear-filled whimper as Tanjiro looks at Y/N with confidence.

Tanjiro: Yes sir!

Y/N keeps smiling, as he grabs a bamboo sword.

Just like that, the aura instantly changes to a deadly one.
