Things happened for a reason right? Its hard to believe when horrible events happen that there was a reason for that to happened. Ariella Bennet was the type of girl who didn't care about what others thought of her. She was blood traitor, an idiot, and a betrayer. Well those are the words her old friend Draco Malfoy would say to anyone who asked of her. Draco and Ariella had a good and strange friendship...
Ariella's mother Jadelyn Bennett one the most famous singers in the wizarding world next to Celestina Warbeck. The Bennett family was filled with wizards who practiced the dark arts. Almost all of them were in slytherin except Ariella. Ariella got into gryffindor with her new friend Neville. Ariella and Draco met when they were quite little. It was when they were 5 years old. Luicius and Jadelyn were good friends at their time of Hogwarts. So of course it would seem fit that Draco and Ariella would have to be friends as well.
Draco and Ariella have a good understanding about each other. Ariella likes to look for trouble while Draco likes to cause trouble. They are both very stubborn but they make a good team.
Ariella understands him. In their fourth year she saw that he would become very handsome. Tall, blonde, lean. Sometimes he has a smirk on his face or that glint in his eyes
which she knows all to well. Its when he finds a new target to touture. He knows that she dislikes that and he tries not to do it to her friends but he still does it just not in front of her. Just so she won't be disappointed in him. She know why he does it as well. Its because he has all this anger in him that its better for him to torment other students than for him to blow up on his father. Draco is the splitting image of his dad but she knows he is nothing like his father but with so much more potential. Though Draco wants to be just like him. He thinks that's what life is all about. To have the money and fame. Ariella tries to tell him that its not all cracked up to be but then he tells her that
'you don't really know that Ella'
The thing is she does know but she doesn't argue with him because when ever they have a conversation about his father he tries to put on this mask so he doesn't show his emotion. Only because he knows when he does he will start to cry in front of her and he doesn't want her to think of him weak. Draco tells Ariella that he just wants his father to be proud of him. Ariella tells him that she understands because she's in the same boat. She wants her mom to be proud of her but her mother is always busy with her singing career to have time for her only daughter.
Sometimes whenever Ariella and Draco have their talks Draco would wrap his arms around her and she would cuddle with him. It made them both feel loved because in the end of the day that's what they both wanted ...love.
When Ariella was feeling upset or feeling down about herself Draco would sing to her. He would take his guitar and sing the banana song to her seeing as she likes bananas.

Draco was a pretty good singer but he didn't have a passion for it like Ariella did. It was in their fourth year that everyone saw how good of a singer she truly was. That was also the year that her other best friend (besides Draco) George Weasley realized he had feelings for her though they started to date in Ariella's 5th year. 5th year was also the year Ariella and Draco were no longer friends.
At the end of their 4th year it was announced that Lord Voldemort was back which cause complications. Ariella knew what side she was fighting along with but it wasn't the side Draco was in. And in the words of Draco Malfoy "You can't be best friends with the enemy"
Ariella didn't have Draco anymore. She didn't have a best friend or someone who she can cry to but when one door closes the other opens. The other door that opened contained the one and only George Weasley.
