High school days are such a great experience for us to grow-up and mostly have a great impact on our present existence. In these days, you're not just a student, you're also a friend, sibling, dreamer and if you're lucky enough, be someone's reason going to school. A lot of changes occur in these days whether it's physical, mental and often for students is the emotional, myself included.

For the past years, I've been concealing what I truly feel. Yeah, I have a huge crush on this guy, unfortunately he has no inkling I like him that way. Most girls would have shown their interest in a guy but I'm not like most girls. If only he knew.

"Hey! What are you daydreaming about?" a familiar voice casually asked.

"Huh? It's nothing important." I hesitantly replied.

Standing in front of me a familiar face came into view. He has this gentle look in his hazel eyes that always captivates me. Where did he come from all of a sudden? He's always like this, coming out of nowhere yet I find it difficult to be annoyed by him. Sometimes I think he appears whenever I think about him. Talk about mind reading.

"Okay then, let's go li'l sis." he said smiling that boyish smile of his that I can just stare at forever.

His hand lay on my shoulder and I feel like I don't want to go anywhere else at this moment.

"There's still time, can't we just stay here for a while?" I pleaded.

"We're gonna be late." he snickered pulling my hand and led the way to our class.

"Okay bro." I said trying to suppress a smile but as always I fail at it.

Just to make things clear, he's definitely not my actual brother. He's my best friend in the whole wide world, Harry. We started calling those nicknames for each other when he often stayed at my house. He'd stay there for hours just hanging-out or eating which is what he does best. My mother often asked me teasingly where my brother was when he wasn't around. At first I'm confused on whom she was asking about because I'm an only child.

When I told him about it, he chuckled and playfully called me li'l sis up till now. I guess he only sees me as a sister, nothing more and nothing less. To make it impossible for him to like me, I'm not the most popular, rich or beautiful girl in school. Self-pitying again. But it doesn't stop me from dreaming and hoping he'll like me the way I've liked him for years now.

Accidentally, as clumsy as I am, bumping into someone isn't new to me but it's still as embarrassing.

"Watch where you're going!" a menacing look came from the girl I bumped and I hope the floor would swallow me whole. There are about a thousand students at school, why should it be her that I have to confront with?

"Oh, I'm so sorry..." flustered and panicking, I'm trying to pick up my stuff that fell.

"Just get out of my way. Like right now!" she annoyingly said.

Stepping out of her way, she walked passed us but I didn't miss her winking at my best friend. Can this day get any worse?

That witch's name is Cathy and I hope to God she won't be Harry's girlfriend. Although she's actually everything I'm not. She's the most popular, rich and beautiful girl in the entire school. I don't even know why I would think I'd have a chance to be Harry's one and only. Especially when he has a better option and that is Ms. Perfect with a major attitude problem here.

Since she came to our school, most of the guys have been lining up to date her or just be with her. A lot of the girls envy her for her pretty face, almost perfect physique and unmistakable confidence. I find it weird that I haven't felt jealous about her, up until now when she deliberately bats an eye towards my bro.
