The door swung open and there stood a girl who looked around the same age as me. She marched into the room her face full of pride, She walked up to my bed and stood before it her hands to her side, her eyes were closed. A smug grin was plastered over her face.

I sat looking at her with a face of confusion not knowing what to say, I still didn't know what to make of the situation. Her grin slowly turned into a frown as she was puzzled at why I hadn't said anything "Are you going to thank me?" She said while leaning forward getting to eye height with me. I said nothing and just stared at her. I was still confused about the entire situation. She continued to stare at me, raising her eyebrow she said, "Are you dumb? c'mon talk" I finally managed to say speak "Where am I?" She looked at me with a face of bewilderment.

She let out a sigh "What am I going to do with you?" Her eyes darted towards me. She leaned closer to me "Show me your arm" She demanded. I raised my arm up to her. She wrapped her hands around my arm, delicately poking it. Her eyes glanced towards me expecting a response to her handling my bandaged arm.

"So how did you end up in the forest?" She mentioned. I looked at her, her face was that of concern and compassion. I looked back down "I... I don't know" I said uncertain myself. She gave a sigh of relief "Well at least you're okay now" She stared at me for a few seconds before turning to the door "I'll go tell Damien you're awake" she remarked before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.

I sat there in silence not knowing what I should do next. I hear the faint sounds of mumbling come from a different room, one voice a much higher pitch no doubt it was the girl I just met and another one much lower and older sounding. The talking stopped suddenly, and I heard footsteps approaching. The footsteps stopped at the door.

The door slowly opened and what stood there shook me. It was a tall man with rough, short black hair and a scruffy beard to accompany it. His skin was warm grey and his face was sunken in like that of the dead. Where his eyes should have been was pure black as if he was a skeleton. In that abyss were dots that stared at me. He was also huge if I had to guess he would be around six foot five to seven foot, it was hard to tell as I was sitting on the bed. He wore a white tank top and some baggy sort of joggers or something that resembled them.

Behind him stood the same girl as before except this time I got a better look at her. Her hair was long coffee brown reaching to her waist, her eyes were filled with so many shades of pink some parts being dark and some light, it was like staring at a painting of one colour. She had a rosy complexion and her facial freckles were spotted all over. She had a wide smile as she stood next to this man. Her clothes were long gowns with a sleeveless tunic accompanying them, the colours on them were very mellow and desaturated.

The man took some steps into the room, leaning down as he entered. He examined me for a second staring at my what was injured arm "Good job Jessy" He came closer and dipped down to my level. He began to move suddenly moving his arms towards me. I flinched at it "Woah, sorry kid" He remarked as he retracted his arms. He looked at the girl and then back at me "What's your name kid?"

I looked at him for a second and avoided eye contact before muttering "My name I-is..."
