Dragon kingdom

A mighty roar could be heard throughout the mountains as a large golden dragon landed in a field nearby, the dragon looked around as if looking for any danger before making its way to a hidden tunnel. As the dragon walked it started to change shape and shrink, a man with golden armor and a scruffy looking beard looked around the lit tunnel. As Korvald walked he stood proud and strong, he was glad to be home after so many years of travel.

He walked down the tunnel with a soft sigh, the dragons had gone into hiding many years ago because of the greed of humans. They killed many dragons thinking that they were just beasts that could grant them magic and threw their scales they would gain it, Korvald growled softly as he remembered what happened all those years ago. But his eyes grew soft once again when he remembered that not all humans were bad, he smiled softly as he remembered the little girl he had met not to long ago but what he didn't know is that instead of being gone for a week like he told her, he had been gone for many years.

He continued to walk until he made it to a room filled with crystals that shined brightly, a young woman with light purple hair was holding one of these Crystals as she hummed softly and placed it back where it goes.
"I'm sorry my dear, but where is the old Crystal keeper?" He asked, as he walked over to her.
She turned around and gasped softly immediately bowing to Korvald, the young woman had one purple eye and one green eye.
"Your highness, your back."
"Please, call me korvold my dear. It's glad to hear that you all still remember your king." Korvold said with a chuckle.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Blaze the current Crystal keeper unfortunately the last keeper died a while back." She said sadly.
"I'm sorry to hear, but I'm glad the Crystal's have chosen a new keeper."
Blaze smiled softly at his words and nodded, she looked around as the crystals began to hum loudly. In the center of the room stood a pedestal it sank to the ground and a moment later a bright crystal shined as it floated out.

"Your truly bonded crystal senses your presence." Blaze smiled as she walked over to it. "We have been keeping it safe and hidden for many years."
Korvald nodded softly as he ran his hands gently across the crystal, Blaze smiled softly and she tend to another crystal nearby.
"Come here child, I have a gift for you." Korvald called.
He motioned Blaze over and pulled out a book from his bag, she took it and smiled softly as she watched the scales on it change color in the light.
"I can't accept this." She said quietly
"I insist, it's a book of my own making. I studied lots of different magic and this one is about crystals, use it wisely."

"I will."
She turned to another tunnel as the crystals hummed again, her eyes locked into the entrance.
"The council knows your here, they wish to speak with you." Blaze turned to look at him again.
Korvald nodded as he let out a soft sight, he started to head to the tunnel but smiled wildly as he turned around to face her.
"Until we meet again great crystal keeper." He said, with a deep belly like laugh as he bowed in a silly way to make her laugh.

Korvold turned on his heels and walked down the tunnel to the throne room, once there he threw open the door with his magic as he has a serious look on his face.
"Now my old friends, what is it that you wish to speak to me about?"
6 others stood in the room as if waiting for his arrival for many years, a few seemed to have a cold hearted look in their eyes.
"So? After many years you have returned your highness?" One of them spoke.
"Yes but only for a while, I must soon leave again." Korvald sat on his throne as he looked around the room.

"And why is that? Haven't we gone without a king here for long enough?"
Korvold stood up with a low growl coming from him, he stared at the council member who just spoke his eyes seemed to go dark.
"You dare question my leadership?! I am still your king and I know for a fact that something greater is coming, something evil and I must prepare my student."
The council member seemed to shrink at his words looking down at the ground, they all seemed to bow to him now not one daring to speak out of turn.
"I'm sorry your highness, it won't happen again." They said.
"Good, now leave my sight."
The council members quickly left the room, closing the door behind them. He sat down again and sighed loudly as he rubbed the temple of his head gently.
"What has this world come to?" He asked himself
A dark presence seemed to slowly creep into the room, he didn't seem to notice as if he was used to this.
"That will change soon enough, go and find the girl. Go and find Lunacrest."
