First, I'd like to thank jackattack364 for helping me with this project.
Second, I own nothing. All characters belong to Rick Riordan. Btw, this entire story will be in 3rd person omniscient now with that out of the way. Let's start..........................................................................
Who would've known that after facing as many struggles and fighting as many battles as they have, that peace would finally arrive? Well, the God's and heroes currently assembled on Olympus certainly hoped peace would come, but that's different from knowing. But who are these God's and Heroes? Well, the heroes are the greatest of this generation, quiet possibly ever. So, I hope you should know, but just in case, let's go through them real quick, over by the Ophiotaurus were Percy Jackson, the Son of Poseidon, and proud mama's boy Magnus Chase, the son of Freyr and an Einherjar from Valhalla. Along with Carter Kane, the current Pharoah of the house of life and host to Horus Egyptian God of War, by his side stod Horus, who, due to the magical properties of Olympus, doesn't currently need a host. They seem to be in the middle of a discussion with the primary topic being helping Magnus with his swordsmanship, although teaching each other techniques from their own Pantheons has been brought up numerous times, that's certain to be interesting if nothing else. Let's go see who else is here.It seems Ra, Zeus, and Odin are over by the thrones, having a discussion about kingmanship, and Zeus comparing conquests? Let's not go near that. Well, what about by the fountain? It looks like Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena and Architect of Olympus, is speaking with her mother Athena Greek Goddes of Wisdom, and Thoth the Egyptian God of Knowledge, and Mimir a head with great Knowledge and Wisdom held by Hearthstone a mute and deaf elf were trading knowledge about the monsters and enemies of eachother's mythology. A great idea, as Hearthstone pointed out using ASL. Over in the Gardens, Demeter was talking about the various summer plants with Apollo, the Greek God of the sun and former mortal, Frey the Norse God of Summer, her daughter Meg Mccaffery, and Calypso the former prisoner of Ogygia we're all talking about plants and flowers, specifically those found in the summer.
Over in a corner of the throne room Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the hunt and moon, was giving a very convincing pitch about joining the Hunters and the benefits to Sadie Kane the Host of Isis, Mallory Keen a resident of floor 19 in Valhalla and daughter of Frigg, and Piper McLean daughter of Aphrodite and a major player in putting Gaea back to sleep. With the help of Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, and lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis, and Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano, daughter of Bellona and former Praeter of New Rome. But you wouldn't be able to tell the pitch was convincing based on the reactions of the three girls.
Over in another corner of the throne room, Alex Fierro child of Loki, and shapeshifter, Leo Valdez Son of Hephaestus and fire user, Hephaestus Greek God of metal working, Blitzen a son of Freya and owner of Blitzen's Best, Mars the Roman God of War, Venus the Roman goddess of love, and Freya Norse Goddess of love were talking about fashion and armor, more specifically Fashion and armor combined, and it's benefits. Then, over by the Hearth was Hestia, the Greek Goddess of hearth and home who was sitting and conversing with Hades Greek God of the underworld, Persephone his Queen, Nico di Angelo the son of Hades, Hazel Levesque the Daughter of Pluto, Frank Zhang the son of Mars, Anubis the Egyptian God of mummification, Poseidon Greek God of the seas, Amphitrite, the queen of the seas, and their son Triton, heir to the throne of Atlantis, with them were Tyson general of the Cyclopes army Ella a harpy with perfect memory, Briares the last of the hundred handed one's, Grover a Satyr and Lord of the Wild, Khufu a basketball loving baboon, Freak the Gryphon, Hera Greek Goddess of Marriage, and Frigg the Norse Goddess of Motherhood. What they were talking about however wasn't any one specific thing, more so whatever came to mind. It was a nice discussion not very heated other than when Poseidon would Bring his Demigod son up, which was met with exasperation as he's already done so about 20 times, or slight annoyance not at the god himself more so his son, tho Hestia didn't seem to mind one bit, and would infact encourage it, much to the others dismay, but who could blame her? He cared about his family very much, so it's expected that a Goddess of family would at least respect such a person.
Finally over in a separate out of the way area were three individuals passed out with a few bottles of wine and mead surrounding them, although their not passed out due to drinking like one would suspect for their tolerance is too high, no they were just bored and decided to take a nap, these were Dionysus Greek God of wine and Madness, Thor Norse God of Thunder and wielder of Mjölnir. And Pollux son of Dionysus and twin to the late Castor. But at the sound of the throne room doors opening they awoke and like everyone else looked to see who or what opened them, it was none other than Mnemosyne Greek Goddess or Titaness depending on who you ask, of memory and she was carrying a chest tho what was in it was not known by any in the room but her, Zeus who was rightfully suspicious of Mnemosyne walking into the throne room with a chest in hand which had unknown items in it, and who was hardly ever on Olympus asked
"Mnemosyne, may I ask what you are doing here? And what is in the chest?"
Mnemosyne looked down at the chest she was carrying then back at Zeus and replied, "Of Course Lord Zeus, I'm here to deliver this, and to stay for what is to come, if that's fine."
Zeus grew a look of confusion and asked, "What's to come, what do you mean by that?" Mnemosyne's reply was immediate for fear of sounding like she was starting trouble, "The Reading's, the Fates of the Three Pantheons gathered here for the peace treaty, tasked me with converting the memories of the heroes on Olympus, along with some of the heroes who have died, into books for everyone here right now to read, in order to get to know each other better, and so they can have complete trust in eachother in battle if they need to." Zeus thought about it, and looked to Ra and Odin, they all silently agreed it was a good idea, with little to no negatives. So Zeus spoke, "Very well, you may stay and read the memories of the Heroes with us." Mnemosyne nodded and was about to thank him, before Odin asked,"Is there a specific Reading order? Or would the readings be in random?"
Thoth jumped in, "Perhaps, in Chronological order? It would make sense to read them in the order they happened." Athena nodded agreeing with this. Mnemosyne was about to respond before multiple God's and heroes put in their thoughts not allowing her a chance to speak, luckily Hestia seemed to notice this and drew everyone's attention by making the Hearth flare up for a split second, just long enough to grab everyone's attention and Hestia interuppted, "Perhaps we should allow her to answer the question before we speculate further?" Everyone looked a bit sheepish at those words and turned to Mnemosyne who looked a bit embarrassed at needing the help of one of the most quite Godess's to get everyone's help, but immensely thankful nonetheless which Hestia noticed and smiled at, so with everyone finally quite Mnemosyne spoke up, "The Fates gave me this chest and ordered me to put the books in this chest after I finished and it would arrange itself so that the first book of the reading would be at the top of the stack on the right side, and the next to the immediate left, they didn't say wether or not it had a specific reading order other than that, but they mentioned that impact was important"
Zeus nodded along, it made sense to him, and even if it didn't who was he to question or go against the Fates? It has never worked for him before, something he only recently learned, based on the Fact Odin and Ra nodded it would seem they had a similar thought in regards to the reading order, finally he spoke, "Well then, shall we begin?"
He looked around for everyone's agreement and after seeing them nod turned back to Mnemosyne and told her, "Very well, Mnemosyne if you would, grab the first book."
She nodded and proceeded to set the chest down before opening it and reaching inside to grab the first of the books.Well, that's the end of the Prologue, I plan to try and update this story at least every other week, tho I can't guarantee that cause I don't know ow if something will come up. Now I'm assuming everyone know's what the first book is going to be, but just in case you don't for whatever reason it's The Lightning Theif. One thing that is going to make this reaction fic different from any others I've seen is that there's going to be calculations for as many feats as possible or as close to them as we can get, and there's going to be comparisons for some of them, but not all of the feats will have calculations due to them being uncalculable. This is one of the many parts of this series that jackattack364 is helping me with, so again thank you to him, and I hope to see whoever reads this when the next chapter *hopefully some point the week after next*
