It was a beautiful late Sunday morning. The sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky, bringing life to the somewhat dull city.

In a quiet Café sat a 22 year old male, sipping his steaming coffee while patiently waiting for a certain someone to join him. His brown eyes scanned the oh so familiar cafe, its soft interior bringing a sense of nostalgia to the male.

The cafe still adorned the now old-looking pastel colours plastered across the walls, along with the cozy seats lined up behind each other. The beautiful artwork and plants hanging on the wall added a touch of nature to the building. Natural light poured in through the large windows, establishing a serene atmosphere for its customers. The detailed menu that hung on the wall just behind the counter featured a variety of coffees and teas, served in beautiful ceramic mugs.

These are all things Dazai Osamu was very familiar with. Yet that same familiarity seemed so distant to him.

But still, he couldn't deny that it was the same.

The same pastel colours she called 'her favourite'.

The same menu she would always order the same things from.

The same light which shone upon her beautiful face while she sat on these same seats sipping her beverage, making the female appear even more majestic.

It was the same as back then.

The only difference was that she wasn't here with him. She wasn't here to warmly smile at the male and cutely ask him to taste her pastries.

It hurt. It pained the brown haired man so much to think that he won't ever be able to experience such loving moments with her again.

Yet the male couldn't resist the urge to repeatedly come to this memorable place he held dear.

So here he sat waiting, silently sipping away at his warm beverage, while his heart clenched upon remembering each moment he shared with her in this cafe.

Lost in thought, Dazai didn't notice the male he had been waiting for run up to him.

"Dazai-san!"

No response.

The grey haired boy swiftly sat opposite his senior and waved his hands in front of Dazai's face, hoping to gain his attention.

After having his name called multiple times, Dazai finally snapped out of the trance he was in - blinking rapidly.

"Oh. Atsushi-kun, you have arrived.", Dazai breathed out.

"Ah yes. Sorry I'm late, I got caught up helping Kyoka with something.", the younger male replied, an apologetic smile evident on his lips.

Chuckling slightly, Dazai waved Atsushi off. "It's fine. I wasn't here for too long anyways."

While the two males conversed with each other, a somewhat timid looking waitress came over to their table.
