the new kid on the block [h.s.]

chapter one first sight

aly's pov

"Aly I'm gonna go to the grocery store, your dad should be home from work in about an hour, okay?" yelled my mom from the bottom of the stairs.

"Yeah okay mom."

Once my mom leaves I crash in my bed, grab my phone and text my boyfriend.

me: hey, you doing anything rn
joe: nope just got back from justin's
me: come overr
joe: k be there in 5

There was a sound of a car slam which I thought was joe's so I checked out my window. I was surprised to see moving trucks pulling into the Johnson's old home, I guess someone finally decided to buy it after being on the market for a while.

Shortly after the moving trucks came a black gmc. After the car was in park, a door swung open, out came a handsome boy with curly brown locks. I resist from starting..he was honestly the most attractive boy I've ever laid eyes on..

"Wait. What the hell am I doing?? I have a boyfriend! Shit, who's going to be here any minute!" I say panicking to myself. I make my way to my bed and grab my phone, checking the time, "It's only been 2 minutes!" I say relieved that I hadn't been staring for too long, then soon hearing the doorbell which I assume is joe.

I rush down the stairs and open the door to be stunned to see that it wasn't joe it was the new kid on the block.

"Um hi." I say almost out of breath from racing down the stairs. "Hey I'm harry, my family and I just moved here from England and just moved into the house a few doors down and I uh..saw u looking out your window," he said with a smirk, "you were probably confused as to why there was such a ruckus outside." he said.
I honestly had no idea what to say. I was about to respond when I saw a car pulling into the driveway.

Shit.

"Um yeah this isn't a great time for a little meet and greet, see my boyfriend just got here and he might not love that I'm taking to you right now." I say with a sympathetic smile.
"Of course I totally get it! I'm sorry I don't think I cought your name." He say with a soft smile.
"Oh yeah I'm aly" I say with a smile.
"Well I hope to see you again aly." he says with a wink.

I'm sososososososo excited for this book like ahhhh this was a super short chapter but this was just the intro to everything that's is going to happen throughout this boooook(:
I'm going to try to update once or twice a week depending how much time I have but I'm also co-writing a book called I would with my friend.
