It was said that Remnant was built on legends. Tall tales that help us make sense of things too great or too terrifying to believe. This is the legend of the Ghost Rider.
The story goes that every generation has one, some damned soul cursed to ride the universe, collecting on the Devils deals. Many years ago, a Ghost Rider was sent to the world of Remnant to find the city of the dead and fetch a contract worth 1,000 evil souls. But that contract was so powerful. He knew he could never let the devil get his hands on it.
So he did what no Rider has ever done before... He outran the devil himself. The thing about legends is folks, sometimes....they'retrue....
However, this....was just the beginning of what's going to come for the nextRider and the devil soon enough....

Location: Earth-616, in 3rd P.O.V
It was a nice, sunny day at the carnival. The people were laughing and cheering. They were all having a good time. But none of them were as great as the amazing, blazing stuntmen, Barton Blaze, and his son Johnny Blaze! They were jumping their bikes through flaming hoops for the crowd, as the crowd was cheering for them. As Johnny was driving by seeing his girlfriend Roxanne, he drives by doing a wheelie for her. However, he wasn't paying attention as he stopped himself and hit the brakes, almost hitting a wall and driving by to his dad, who sighed in disappointment as they unmounted their stunt bikes and taking them to the garage.
Barton: "You a hotshot, ain't you, boy? Young, thinking you know everything there is to know. Just thinking you could live forever, is that about right?"
Johnny: "Oh, come on, Dad. It was just a patch of dirt."
Barton: "That's not the point. But the point is that we've been doing this act less than a week, and here you are already screwing around."
Johnny: "I was just doing it for the crowd."
Barton: "We both know why you done it, kid. Besides, you think she'll be there for you when you're in a wheelchair? Huh, hotshot?"
The boys then head off to their tent where they work on their bikes. Johnny was just laying by the ground working on his bike, while his dad was fixing his bike, lecturing Johnny, while also smoking.
Barton: "You see, son, everything you do in life, every choice that is made has a consequence. When you do things without thinking, you ain't making the choice, the choice is making you. Do you understand that?"
