3rd POV
Ida looked at Midoriya from his spot on the ground with a surprised expression, "Midoriya!?" he was shocked to say the least.
"Wha- why are you here? and where's Violet and Lay-" without even finishing his sentence, one of the two girls came around the corner screaming.
"Someone is about to get beaten up and it won't be me!" Layla yelled and then landed right beside Ida. She gave him a smile before looking at the Hero Killer with a stern glare.
"On tv it said that 60 percent of his victims were found in blind corners, so I've been searching the alleyways near the center of the trouble... Looking for you!" Midoriya said all of this while keeping an eye on Stain. "And I've also been here!" Layla cheered.
Midoriya glanced the girl and smiled at her enthusiasm, but quickly looked back to the Hero Killer.
"Can you move Ida? If you can, get out of here and go to the main road and signal some pros to come help us!" Layla said. She knelt down beside the blue haired boy to see that his face was all scratched up. "I can't move... He cut me, I think that might be his quirk. Also, where's Violet?"
Layla smirked and leant down closer to Ida so she could whisper to him, "She's hiding somewhere, so when we really need her, she can jump out and help." He faintly nodded but was still very confused.
"I heard about that, so in order to use his quirk he needs to cut you." Midoriya then looked over to a wall that was close by and saw a pro hero seemingly passed out against the wall, slightly covered in blood. He furrowed his brows but Ida stopped his train of thought, "Midoriya, take the girls and don't interfere. This has nothing to do with any of you!" Ida shouted.
At first Midoriya tried to protest, but Ida just continued, "This is my job to defeat the Hero Killer: Stain to avenge my older brother and what Stain did to him!" HIs eyes were filled with determination, but Layla just looked between him and the tall, creepy looking hero killer dumbfounded.
"You wanna try and fight this big guy all by yourself?" Layla asks, then the hero killer chuckles.
"The girl is correct, but I don't want either of you interfering anyway. I need to cleanse the hero society and their tainted morals and values, by killing these two and showing what happens when you're a fake hero!" Stain then looked at Midoriya with dark eyes. "Sure, the line 'I'm here to save you.' is a good one, but I have to kill these two. If we have to fight then naturally, the weak will be culled."
Midoriya started trembling and Layla just looked at him with confusion, "What the fuck is he saying? I need you to speak English, apparently I went to English class for shits and giggles because all those fancy words make non sense at all." She mumbled to herself, which Ida heard, he just gave her a side eye. his thoughts exactly were, 'How are you thinking about that right now? It clearly means he will kill you if you can't beat him!'
But anyway...
"So what now?" Stain asked Layla saw Midoriya pull out his phone behind his back and send his location to the class 1-A group chat. She nodded since at least one person is sure to come to the rescue, and they might even bring a pro.
'Who am I kidding. Whether someone comes or not...'
Midoriya then put his phone away and takes a fighting stance infront of the big guy, ignoring all of Ida's protests to run away, "What am I supposed to do when you say stupid crap like that? A true hero stays and fights for their friends, I have alot to say to you but that'll have to come later. Because just like All Might said, giving help that isn't asked for, is what makes a true hero!" Layla furrowed her eyebrows and shrugged her shoulders.
