"You want to talk about it, Captain?" Ban asks the short blonde.
"I'm good." The demon replies, sighing quietly afterwards.
Ban nods and pats his head. Meliodas pulled him closer and snuggled against his chest. Ban smiles and wraps an arm around his waist. They sat there for a few moments in a comfortable silence, until Ban speaks up.
"I guess I'm looking out for you, huh?" Ban asks, chuckling after.
Meliodas laughs quietly.
"Yeah. I guess we're looking out for each other, Ban."
"Yeah... I guess we are."
Meliodas looks up at Ban and grins, receiving a smirk from his best friend. They started watching the other's drunk off their ass. King especially since he's the lightweight of the group. They both laughed when he ran into a wall, earning a scream and a cry from the fairy. They continued to laugh, Meliodas elbowing him in the side and Ban wrapping an arm around his shoulder. They looked at each other and smiled. Ban leaned in and pressed their foreheads together.
"Thanks for being here for me, Ban."
"Don't thank me. It's what friends do, right?"
"Yeah... Right."
