MY FIRST SHORT IN ENGLISH :)

------------

Rico, a 16-year-old from the Philippines, resided in Canada with his Filipino parents. In late August, a package from his grandmother announced her September arrival. Opening the parcel, Rico discovered an intriguing mirror. Quietly, he took it and headed to his room.Placing the mirror on his table, Rico observed his reflection. Back-to-school anxiety troubled him, as he concealed his internal struggle about feeling comfortable in his own skin from his parents.

With his gaze fixed on the mirror, he touched its surface. A magical shiver passed through him. His reflection seemed to come to life, and a feminine silhouette appeared. Touching the mirror, he passed through it.

"But what is this?" Rico wondered.

Astonished, Rico found himself in a woman's body, experiencing a new day rich with emotions. As the day drew to a close, he returned to the mirror, saw his face, touched its surface, and returned to his own body. Midnight struck, and he was back in his own universe.

This return stirred complex emotions. On one hand, relief at regaining his body and life. On the other, the experience of being a woman had opened his eyes to unfamiliar perspectives.Rico realized he couldn't ignore his discomfort. The mirror had triggered something, revealing a neglected part of himself. He needed to talk to his parents. In September, his grandmother moved in. It was time to share his burden. With courage and support, he embarked on a journey of self-acceptance. The magical mirror had initiated the process, but his courage would guide him to find inner peace.
