as the moon is at its peak 2 people are taking in an open field. both their faces are covered with white masks and they're wearing long black cloaks.

Both of them hear a russell behind them.
Suddenly turning around they don't see anyone there.

suspicious person 1:
did you hear that

suspicious person 2:

suspicious person 2:
let's part for now but we will meet again soon when the time is right

as the two people leave the field we go over to a sleeping MC, in their room a faint light eminates from their body as this happens MC is having a very strange dream.

MC is running through a forest being chased by something. MC feels the wind against their face and soreness in their legs as they start slowing down. tripping on a rock MC land on their face allowing whomever or whatever is following them to catch up. turning around they see a large figure above them.

MC:
GET OFF ME!!

as they look in to each other's eyes a sense of déjà vu comes to MC but before they can respond a alarm beeps waking up MC

MC:
hmm

Opening up their eyes MC finds themselves in their bed.

MC:
what is with that dream

MC:
it was creepy enough the first time but now I'm having it almost every night

MC:
and I can never remember what that guy looks like

getting their slippers on they head down to the dining room as they enter MC realizes no one is there.

MC:
that's right they had to go in early for a meeting

heading to the kitchen MC makes themselves a ball of cereal and goes to sit down

As they are eating someone knocks on the front door.

MC:
who could that be

MC goes to the door and opens it but finds only a box taped shut and nobody who could have delivered it.

MC:
don't I need to sign for this

looking out at the distance they can't see who delivered it.

MC:
how strange

bringing the box inside MC puts it on the dining room table. looking at the parcel they try to find who it's meant for by looking at the label. they find the box's is addressed to them so they begin to open it it. as they open the box MC sees a book inside with a key attached.
