Chapter 6

-Meanwhile with the kids-

Dash and May are fast asleep in the fort they made. Dash hugs her close and she has her head on his chest.

Violet is on the foldable sofa bed with Jack-Jack asleep.

The tv plays lowly as the kids all are fast asleep.

Elastigirl, Incredible, Frozone get out of the car with their supersuits as Frozone helps Taserwoman out of the car.

"Your security badges. Please, this way." The man says giving them a badge. "Hey, listen, you're my biggest fan." The man tells Frozone as him and Lucy stop.

"Good to see you." Lucius says chuckling at the man's nervousness.

"I'm-I'm your biggest fan. Shoot!"

They all go up in an elevator taking them up.

"It's a nice view" Lucy tells Lucius smiling. "It really is" Lucius says looking at her as she looks out of the glass making him smile at the woman he is in love with.

The elevator opens revealing a really nice place. They all get out and look around.

"I LOVE superheroes!" Someone says out of nowhere making them look towards the direction. "The powers, the costumes, the mythic struggles. Winston Deavor. You can call me Win. Genuine pleasure to meet you. Frozone!" Winston says going up to them.

"It's good to see you." Frozone tells him. "Taserwoman" "Helloo" "Elastigirl." "Nice to meet you."
"Mr. Incredible!" "Hello."

"Incredible. Catching the bad guys. Pow, pow, pow!" Winston and Bob sing.

Winston turns to Lucius and starts singing with him. off screen while Evelyn comes in when survival odds Are close to nil? 🎶

" Frozone, Frozone, Frozone!"
"Yeah!" Lucius says making everyone laugh.

"Can't tell you what a thrill this is. And this..." "Oh, hello there, superheroes. I'm so sorry I'm late." Evelyn says. "is my tardy sister, Evelyn." Winston says.

"And I'm scolding myself so you don't have to, Winston!"

May wakes up and sees she's cuddling with Dash making her blush. She gets up and walks to the very small kitchen to get something to drink.

"You okay M?" Dash whispers to her making her jump a little. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you." Dash says chuckling lightly.

"Where did our parents go?" May asks making Dash shrug.

"Probably went for grownup stuff." Dash says making May playfully role her eyes.

"You didn't answer my question." Dash tells her making her raise an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"

"Oh yea I am just worried that's all" She tells him making him nod.

Dash smiles seeing a flower outside the window. He zooms out making May confused only for him to be back in seconds holding a daisy.

"For you." Dash says smiling. "Just like when we first met." May says smiling.

"May I have to tell you something." Dash says nervously. "Yes?"

"I uh- well you see I think- no I know I uh- like... candy?" Dash says making May giggle.

"Oh I know you do too." May says kissing his cheek making him flustered. "That's for the flower." May says walking back to the fort to fall asleep.

Dash stares at nothing with his mouth opened slightly as he touches his cheek.

"This sounds great! Let's get this going. What's my first assignment?" Bob says standing up in excitement

"That enthusiasm is golden. Now hold on to it. But for our first move, well, Elastigirl and Taserwoman are our best play." Winston says pointing at them.

Lucius pats Helen as he squeezes Lucy's hand making her smile big.

"Better than me?" Bob says wanting to get some action making the women clear their throats.

"I mean, Their good. Their-uh-Really, a credit to them...but uh, You know. You know." Bob says making Lucy raise an eyebrow at him.

"With great respect let's not test the whole "insurance-will-pay-for-everything" idea on the first go 'round, okay?" Winston tells him.

Frozone, Taserwoman and Elastigirl try not to laugh.

"Wait a minute. You're saying what? I'm messy?" Bob says.

"Well, Evelyn did a cost-benefit analysis comparing all your last five years of crime fighting before going underground. Elastigirl's and Taserwoman's numbers are self-explanatory." Winston says.

"Well, it's not a fair comparison!Heavyweight problems need heavyweight solutions." Bob says

"Of course! We're gonna solve all kinds of problems together. After the perfect launch with Elastigirl and Taserwoman!" Winston says.

"So, what do you say?" Evelyn asks them.a

"What do I say? I...don't know." Helen says. "Don't get me wrong this is an amazing opportunity, but I have a child I have to think about this and talk to her." Lucy says as Lucius hold her hand making Winston nod.
