We meet again... but something is different

Chaper 8:

"Papa...."

"W-wait..! A-akari, don't do anything too hasty now..! I-i just thought..."

Rimuru seems to be sweating profusely as he slowly backed away from a very angry looking Akari.

"Thought..?! We could have saved so much time if you had just used your 'Spatial Motion' to get us to Dwargon..!"

"B-but you were so excited to go on the adventure..! So.. I didn't think we needed to...."

When Rimuru tried his best to stall Akari from letting loose on him..., he suddenly felt something stopping him from moving back any further.

"Oh no!"

The look of terror was plastered on his face once he realized there was a tree blocking his path.

"What do you mean by 'Oh no'?!"

"Umm... you're very angry at me, Akari.."

"...Don't tell me you thought that I was gonna do something to you?"

"...maybe?"

Akari is now beginning to process what is currently happening right now while also putting up the most ridiculous face as she looked at her own father.

Never had she thought that the person who she had known to be so calm and matured...

[Akari's P.O.V]

'Can I have the matured Papa back..? This is getting too ridiculous...'

I decided to look towards Ciel Oneesan's direction..., Hoping that she can atleast help me. But... All I can see is her giving me a thumbs up as if she wanted me to continue what I was doing.

'Does she also think that I would something to Papa too...?'

Suddenly, I heard whispering from beside Ciel Oneesan which caught my attention so I turned my head towards where it was coming from.

"Um... yea.. don't make her mad."

"I agree."

"You said it... If this is how scary she can get, I can't imagine how terrifying the Master's partner could be.."

"Mmmhmm.."

The so-called 'whispering' came from the smiths...

They really aren't doing a good job at whispering. I can literally hear them mumbling amongst themselves... It's as if they aren't even trying to keep it a secret.

'And again.., do I really look that scary?!'

This is getting annoying..! All I wanted to do was scold Papa..! How did it turn out like this?!

"Um.. Akari? Are you still mad? Judging from the face you're making... I think you're still are."

Returning my attention back to Papa, his posture and expression seems to be back to normal... Kinda.
