𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞

chapter 2

theo woke up to the sound of his alarm on his phone blaring into his ear. he quickly turned it off and stood up. maybe a little too quickly because he got a little dizzy. once he steadied himself he walked to his closet. theo pulled out a black long sleeve and a nirvana short sleeve shirt. he pulled out some jorts as well and went downstairs to make himself some food. he made himself some cereal in a cup. which sounds absurd, i know, but try it out some time. makes eating cereal slightly less boring. he grabbed his bag and walked out of the house when he finished eating.

Theo walked down the street to nikki's house so they could walk to school together. theo walked up to the door and knocked on the door. mrs. loon answered the door and smiled.

"good morning theo,  how are you doing today?" she said leaning on the door frame.

"good morning, i'm doing fine, I'm a little nervous, but fine." he smiled. she looked at him and patted his head.

"you'll be fine hon, don't worry" mrs. loon said as nikki walked over.

"hey gingy!" nikki said and theo sighed.

"really" he said and she chuckled.

"of course! bye mom" nikki said as they walked away and waved.

"bye mrs. loon!" theo said and waved as well. theo and nikki walked while talking turning here and there crossing the street every now and then. theo and nikki were in the middle of a conversation when they both heard three voices yell nikki from behind them in unison. lowkey scary but whatever. one of the people had mid length brown hair with giant round glasses. they had some high rise jeans and a long sleeve black shirt and a long over-coat with short sleeves that was a shade of blue. what shade? i couldn't tell ya. the other one was a person with short brown curly hair and a red mask. they wore ripped baggy jeans and a brown short sleeve shirt. their skin was tan skin but looked more on the paler side.

the third and final person was a person theo found gorgeous. they had long puffy white hair that covered their face. their skin was pale with scattered freckles and they wore a knee length skirt and a long sleeve blue and white striped shirt. theo found them absolutely stunning.

"heeeyyyy" the one with glasses said.

"hey will" nikki said with theo close to her side as they stood in the middle of the side walk.

"whose that?" the one with the mask said before coughing lightly.

"this is my friend theo" nikki said gesturing to him.

"hi, names will, they/ them" will said putting out their hand for theo to shake. theo shook their hand and smiled.

"theo, he/him" he looked to the one with the mask and smiled.

"oh, hi, im, aaron. he/him" he said before coughing.  

"and im cotton, nice to meet you theo" she said putting a hand out for him to shake.

"nice to meet you too" he said smiling.

"now that we are all acquainted, we have a school to get to" nikki said and theo sighed and rolled his eyes. "oh don't be a debbie downer you highlighter" nikki said pushing his shoulder slightly.

"really, again with the nickname? theo said face palming.

"highlighter?" aaron said looking at them both confused as they began to walk. nikki and theo made eye contact but they both had very different looks on their faces. theo looked at her with a scared face and she looked at him with a devious smile. theo took a quick second to asses what nikki was wearing as she reached for her phone quickly. after seeing she was wearing pants he quickly put her over his shoulder and ran away from the group who followed soon behind. 

"theo! put me down!" nikki said while laughing as theo ran full speed.

"NEVER!!" he said turning a corner. he then slowed down and put her down laughing loudly. the others caught up soon behind. they were all trying to catch their breath while aaron was coughing. will looked at aaron concerned and pat his back lightly as he coughed. theo looked at him slightly concerned as well.

"dont worry too much about him, hes just a little sick is all" nikki said looking a little sad.

"is there anything i can do?" theo said looking at them all.

'not run, that's for sure" aaron laughed then continued to cough. they all chuckled and continued walking to school when aaron could finally breathe. they walked into the front office together and they all saw ash who decided to tag along with them all. theo went to his first class that nikki was in, nikki just so happened to be in all of his classes except for one. but he had cotton so he was fine with it. he found cotton very pretty and nice, he also found her smart, in the small time they talked she amazed him honestly, he would never say that to her face, or anyone's exact. theo isn't the person to say that.  he isn't the person to give hugs unless it's from someone he really likes them or is close to them. he isn't the person to just hand out honest compliments like nothing, yes he'll say he likes someones outfit or hair but he wont just say their eyes are pretty or their smile lights up an entire room. that's just not his thing. 

theo sat through his first period class bored out of his mind  not paying attention because, well. he wasn't really expected to know this stuff on the first day. he was supposed to start this stuff next week. so he took his time, ignoring everyone. except nikki of course, and occasionally will who was also in that class. after his first period he left the class and went to the bathroom. well to the water fountain outside of the bathroom. he took his backpack off that he had been carrying around all day. he set his bag down and started to drink from the water fountain and instantly someone grabbed his bag and opened it. theo stopped drinking the water instantly and looked back at who took his bag. it was a random boy with brown hair and freckles. he was a few inches taller than theo. theo looked at him and put his hand out for his bag.

"hardy har har, so funny, okay give me my bag back now" theo said to the boy and that's when the other boy's friends walked up to him with a bottle of mustard. who tf just carries around mustard like it's nothing. idk. this weird guy does tho. hes kind of a nut job

"umm, no" the one boy said as the other poured the whole thing of mustard into theos bag.
