P.S.: im sorry about not capitalizing the "i"'s its just too annoying, but if it bothers anyone i will change them!! and the begining is very weak righnt now, but please stick with it, i promise it will get better!!!!!!

Dear Diary,

"Last day of summer. Its 11th grade next year. MY year. No one is going to get in the way of my most fun, drama-free year of my life. We rule Arial Rights High School. Were like a family now, after 3 whole years spending 7 hours a day, 5 day a week together. Its gonna be good.

- That was my last journal entry before school began, my last documentation of being a soffmore.

CHAPTER 1:

I walked onto the bus on the first day of junior year, and drown in a wave of "hey Dylan"s. I love the bus, some of my best friends are on my bus, so its just some time i have to be myself. All the juniors on the bus (my friends) were exchanging sarcastic jokes and eye rolls as we approached the next bus stop which was a block up the street from mine. Mikes stop. I have known Mike since 1st grde. Were not all that close, but I have come to know him a little better because he is like Ashton's side-kick. Ashton is my neighbor, he lives right down the hill, two houses away. I have known Ashton since I was born. Oh, have I mentioned I have lived here all my life?

Mike walked onto the bus and headed straight to the back and sat with Ashton, I gave him a smile and said hello. What I saw next was something I dont think I will ever forget. "who the hell is that?" i asked anyone who might have known. "the blonde chick"? said Ashton, and as he said this, he nudged Mike like he knew something, or to embarrass him. I thought nothing of her, I geuss I just assumed she was an under classman. But when i got a better look, I could see she was clearly our age, or maybe a senior.

I managed to catch up to her and I noticed that she was really not all that hot. I mean, i'll admit she wasn't ugly, she was thin, maybe a bit taller than me (im 5 foot). Her blonde hair was just a little darker than mine, and came down to about mid-boob. Her orange Areopostale shirt and ripped flare jeans did NOT go well with Adida's sandals with white knee socks. But even if I were a 16 year old with raging hormones, and I was a total horn-dog, I still wouldn't go crazy over her. Like I said, she wasn't ugly, but I found her boringly......well...boring. She had a "girl next door" sort of look, and I'm not into girls, but if I was, I'd go for the more exotic look.

Ashton suddenly tapped me on the back and when i turned around, he seemed to be out of breath. "she's so hot" he spitted out in between pants, poining to the new girl who was walking alone and seemed to be looking around nervously. I pushed him as if he had just called me ugly. "did you just run all the way here?" He nodded, and as we walked into the school, a huge grin came across my face, because summer was fun and all, but i honestly like the school year better, "Arial Rights High School" was my sanctuary, and i already got my scheduele, and my classes are great. I ran my hand across the walls, feeling the familiar crevices in between each brick that was painted an off-white color, and I felt a sense of safety, and security.

"Do you even know her name?" I asked Ashton after he caught his breath. "Someone said it was Kimberly or something like that, but I honestly don't care what her name is, I want to-" I cut him off "what's so great about her anyway' you know, I'll bet she's a raging whore or something, she looks like a raging whore. I'm pretty sure she's a raging whore." I said not realizing that I sounded like a jealous bitch. I wasn't jealous, I just knew this girl wouldn't last in this school. We all love each other (well sort of, kinda, a little) but were like a big family, and I really think no one will want her here, we're not the type of town who really likes change. New things are not really accepted unless its a stupid fad or a pop song. New kids have never done well here, and I may be imagining this, but I swear they always move away after half a year. The thing I just couldn't wrap my head around was why anyone would move TO Terrance, Connecticut (authors note:::that's not even a real town, but I didn't want to use my actual town, so that's what I came up with.) Now don't get me wrong, I love it here, these are my roots, where I was born, where I spent all the 13 years of my life, but it was painfully boring here. It's a tiny town and the only reason any of our parents live here is because its close to New York, and its a "kid friendly" town.
