3. Homeless Idol

"You called that a dance? Are you a scarecrow?"

The dance instructor has been roasting him since half an hour ago. He orders Jingmi to perform after training for ten minutes.

Jingmi wipes his sweaty forehead with a hand. He exhales.

Other contestants are staring at him. Most of them sneer at him. Mocking him for being worst dancer here.

Fu Jiazhen snorts. He folds his hands. He is a bad dancer. To think there is someone worst than him.

The dance trainer decides to give up carving the rotten wood. Better to focus on others. He doubts Jingmi could pass the next elimination.

He claps his hands and orders everyone to gather.

He demonstrates dance moves three times. Then he orders them to dance according instructions.

Some of them could dance accurately like Aiguo. Others dance like wooden marionettes.

The dance trainer weeps in his heart. He shouldn't let money sway his judgement. This is high reward job with enormous level of stress.

He demonstrates few more times for them.

Few of them start to get the gist. Others like Jingmi and Fu Jiazhen are still clueless.

The dance trainer picks few good contestants.

He orders, "You guys shall become the mentor in your team. Pick your teammates."

Ten contestants serve as mentors for each team.

The dance trainer praises himself for being smart. Now he could teach ten members and let them deal with the rest of contestants.

Aiguo chooses his roommates including Jingmi. The other six members are random ones.

They try to dance like Aiguo. Failed miserably.

Jingmi shakes his head. He fears he won't pass this elimination stage.

He doesn't give up easily.

I need that twenty thousands yuans. My thousand yuans can't be sacrificed for nothing.

Jingmi asks after everyone has gone to lunch break, "Could you show me how to dance later?"

"Later. I'm starving. Let's eat first."

"Okay."

The contestants swarm into Cafetaria like hungry locust. Sweeping everything clean.

Fu Jiazhen stares at a pile of foods in Jingmi's plate. He shakes his head. Wondering how the guy is skinny with such food intakes.

Another guy is glancing at Jingmi. This fellow looks like scholar like. He gives the aura of a highly educated person.

After lunchtime, it's vocal session.

Aiguo slumps in this one. He isn't a good singer.

The vocal trainer listens to their singing. He corrects their tones and asks them to sing better.

Surprisingly Jingmi doesn't get scolded. He passes smoothly in this lesson.

The vocal trainer nods his head. He marks few amazing contestants. He would recommend them to pose as vocals in the new debut group.

Luo Jingmi, Li Kangjian and few other names are enlisted in it.

The trainer starts to teach them about rap. Then he asks them to perform.

This time he makes a new list of suggestion.

Fu Jiazhen is highly recommended as rapper. He is quite a talented one. Not a single word wrong despite the speed of rapping.
