He had been the first person at the hospital after the fire.That day flashed before her eyes as trees fell across the isolated road.
She remembered the sadness and void she felt when she woke up in hospital to find out that her parents had not survived the fire. Tears started flowing down her cheeks, but she kept on running.
How had she never noticed how Jake was always there for her? Stacy had wasted half her life with the wrong people and only at this moment had she realised how important he was in her life.
As she twisted through the roads on her never ending journey, she remembered the day she first talked to him . She remembered giving him a cheeky smile as she helped him try out the various tops in the store where she was working as a sales girl.
But as she got to his house, she felt this horrible unexplainable sensation and as Stacy ran through all the rooms she noticed why. He was not there .
She felt the mascara run down her face as desperation started to build up in her stomach. As the house shook, she threw a photo of him and her across the room with anger.
Suddenly she saw him come running into the room as he embraced her in a hug. It was as if time had stood still(even though the whole room was literally falling to pieces).
