I've recently been trying to get better at dynamic poses. What works best for me is the line of ✨action✨. It basically helps me get a firm grasp of what this body should be doing, keep in mind that the body itself can tell the viewer a lot about its personality.
There's also what I like to call arrows of action. What this does is it helps me with what the arms and legs are doing. I'm still practicing with poses but little sketches like these would really improve your art ^^
Note that the picture below is for references ONLY. I would hate these being turned into bases (where someone just traces over the body that I DREW) so don't even think about it 😄
