📍Crime scene
Jake walks out of his car, he ducks over some tape,and heads inside of a electronic store which has been broken into
"This job is eating me alive. I can't breathe anymore. I spent all these years trying to be the good guy, the man in the white hat. I'm not becoming like them. I am them"Jake dramatically says
"Hey! What are you doing, you weirdo"Syd exclaims
"I'm doing the best speech from Donnie Braso. Or actually, ten of me are doing the best speech from Donnie Brasco, 'Sup?"
"Get it together, Dude. Okay?" Valentine pleaded "Okay so the store was hit about two hours ago. They took mostly tablets, laptops, and cameras is that right?"She goes over
Peralta was fiddling with a keyboard which seems to be playing 80's hip hop beats. Then Sydney gives him a serious glance "Sorry" The brunette apologizes While stopping the music as Sydney returns back to the store owner.
"I'd like a list of all your employees. Whoever had access to the store. I would also like to apologize for my partner, sadly I have to put up with him too he's my best friend. I can very much say he's not the most mature person"
"Uh, Syd. I already solved the case. We're looking for three white males, one of whom has sleeve tats on both arms" Peralta declared.
"How do you know that?" The blonde asked. "I had an informant on the inside. he's been here for years. Watching, learning. Waiting. his code name? Fuzzy Cuddle bear. He's a nanny cam."Jake grinned while holding a stuffed bear.
"You got lucky."Sydney scoffed. "Nah, I got here five minutes before you and figured that in this gigantic electronic store there has to be at least one working camera. Oh! Hi, Bad guys! You did it, Fuzzy. You busted 'em. It's time to come home" Peralta rambled on.
"I'm not sure if I can. I've been undercover so long, I've forgotten who I am. I have seen terrible things. I haven't known the touch of a woman in many moons" Jake continued while imitating fuzzy.
"All right"Valentine turned around and started walking out. "Detective Valentine! Don't walk away from me!" Peralta begged still imitating fuzzy.
📍Precinct 8:31 A.M.
Jake and all of the detectives are sitting down when he looks to everyone "Yes, I did crack the case. So, Valentine, would you do the honors?"The brunette sneered. "I hate this!" Sydney complained while going up to the white board.
