Living the life of a warrior was an adventurous one! (Don't mind me, I prefer to call soldiers - warriors!). I knew Calisthenes would most likely be preparing for another war or the president was planning another strategy to defeat us. A decision to think ahead of our enemies was made, and a unique training regime of the forces in Sosthenes was the result.
I associated with some true Christians who helped me to grow in the Lord.
Sorry for not giving you a proper introduction of myself at the beginning of this book, my name is..., just give it a guess? My name is Deborah Steifen.

After the war, I supervised the training of some soldiers in the army, they liked the way I taught them, I also began to read and learn more about military tactics.
One fateful day, the president of Calisthenes came to visit us in Sosthenes, (that is, I and my uncle). He introduced his son to me, the name of his son is Prince. My uncle and the president went into the inner rooms of his office to have a closed door meeting, while Prince - an handsome young man and a good looking youth (forgive my adjectives, it was actually love at first sight for a while) was standing by my side. I was still a teen (to be more specific, eighteen years old), and my emotions were beginning to cloud my sense of logical thinking at that time, he seemed to be my age mate, because he was a young man.

Prince's point of view: When I met the person who won the third war of Calisthenes and Sosthenes, I was somehow surprised, because it was a lady! (Ladies reading this book should not be offended, please!).
I tried to communicate with her after my dad left with the president of Sosthenes to a meeting, but...
"Hi!" I said sweetly.
"Hi." She replied bluntly.
"My name is Prince." I offered my hand for a shake, but she just observed me closely instead.
"My name is Deborah. I beg your indulgence, I don't shake strangers." She finally replied.
"Don't you think I can be more than a friend to you?" I said.
"Yes." She responded without thinking.
"You look stunning." I was trying to flatter her.
"Okay." She responded.
"Can we begin a relationship?" I asked.
"Okay." She replied.
"I am in love with you." I replied.
"Okay..." She responded in a thoughtful manner.
"Can I get your contact?" I asked, it was no use trying to talk to her any further, no one needed to tell me that she was not interested in the conversation we were having.
"Let us link up on social media instead." She responded with a motherly tone.
And for the first time that night, I knew she genuinely cared... but maybe as a friend alone. At least, that was a good sign to hold on to.
"I will be coming to see you from time to time, hope you will have no problem with that?" I asked.
She looked away from me, and then thoughtfully gave me a response, "You are welcome here anytime, I think..."
After we linked up on the social media, the rest of that night was filled with a lot of silence between both of us, then I left her after my father arrived.

I was happy when Prince left, but not too happy when I saw my uncle looking somehow sad and angry.
"The meeting ended in a disagreement." My uncle said and left for his quarters.
I was also suspicious of Prince's attitude to me.
Some days after they visited, Prince sneaked into my room in the night, thank God I was alert, (how he knew where my bedroom was located is still a mystery to me till date.) The good part was, I was still wide-eyed awake on my bed with my mobile device.
"Hi." Prince said shyly.
"Hi." I paused for a sec. "How did you get in here?!" I said with shock written all over my face.
"Relax." He whispered, then continued, "My love for you brought me here."
"That is not the answer to..." I became thoughtful for a while, "Now! Get out!" I said in a very stern manner.
"Fine! But I still love you so much! Concerning your question, I'm a technological beast!" He replied, and then left my room through a way I did not really understand.
His words, 'technological beast' actually means, "I am a genius in technological stuff!"
As he left my room, I shouted, "And don't ever come here again!"
And he did just quite the opposite, the following week, he came back again and again, the unfortunate part was... it kept taking me by surprise!
"This is your third time of sneaking up on me, stop it!" I said to him after entering my room on that fateful day, only to find him loitering about with my books.
"Hey! Calm down! Cool down your nerves! I actually love you and that is why I am here." He replied.
"The next time I see you here, I will report to the appropriate authorities." I responded.
"You can't! I know you love me so much to do such! Besides, you have not being responding to my messages." He replied.
His last response above made me know that I was in trouble, it was his confidence that began to frighten me. So, I decided to take advantage of his ego instead, and I think that was my first step in the wrong direction that spelt out other events that would have been prevented.
"Can you teach me how to sneak into presidential buildings?" I asked, in a bid to get my own pound of flesh.
"Sure!" He replied arrogantly.
And he actually did, except that... he did not teach me the exact technique he used. Maybe, he underestimated me. After he left, I made a mental note of going to Calisthenes to give him a taste of his own medicine.
