Oh. My. God.
Tolkien just walked into school, and he is fucking hot!
I've had a crush on my best friend for years now, but he's dating Nichole.. I really don't like her, and she doesn't like me
Tolkien doesn't know that though, he thinks I'm happy for him. I am happy that he found someone to be with, but I don't like her. She's a bitch
"Hey Clyde"
"Oh, hey dude"
"Have you seen Nichole?"
I shrug
"Last I knew, she went back behind the school with some dude"
I wasn't lying, she went somewhere with a guy in our grade
"Oh fuck, seriously!?"
"Mhm"
He leans back against the locker, sighing
"Y'know Clyde. I'm done with her."
"Y-your what?"
"Will you do me a favor?"
"Anything dude"
"Go tell her that we're done."
"Sure"
Yes!!
I go and see Nichole making out with someone against a tree
She sees me and freaks out
"Clyde! Please don't tell Tolkien!"
"He already knows, he wanted me to tell you that he's done with you."
"He's breaking up with me?"
"Yup!"
"It's all your fucking fault! You bitch! "
"Not my fault I'm irresistible"
I walk away, leaving a pissed off Nichole to scream insults at me
"I told her Tolkien-"
Out of nowhere, he drags me into an old classroom.
"Clyde."
"Yeah?"
"I've honestly wanted to break up with her for so long, I want someone else."
All I could do was stand there in shock
"Clyde, I want you"
"M-me?"
"I'm sorry.. I know your probably straight, I'll just go-"
I cut him off with a quick kiss on his lips
"Did that shut you up?"
"Uh. Yes?"
"Good"
"Clyde, so will you be my boyfriend?"
"Of course I will!"
We both smile and share another kiss, this time a bit longer
When we pull away, Tolkien looks into my eyes
"Just promise me one thing"
"What is it?"
"Promise you'll never leave me. That you'll never do anything to hurt me"
I smile, and my hand goes to rest on his cheek
"I promise."
I've never broken a promise, and that promise is definitely one that I kept forever.
