Claudette ran out of the den, with her siblings following. She ran to the field, looking for Fleet. She looked around and saw a brownish fur ball coming towards her. Fleet!
Claudette ran towards him. "Fleet!" She called out. "Claudette" he called back. She stopped running when they were a feet away from each other. "Hey!" They both said. Stinky and Runt ran up to them.
Claudette smiled. "Let's play a game!" She said. "Okay! How about...a race?" Fleet said, smiling. Claudette blushed. "I always beat you" she said. Fleet laughed. "Not this time!" He said, getting in position to run. Claudette and Stinky did the same thing.
"1....
2...
3...
Go!!!!"
Runt screamed. They all ran really fast, Claudette in lead, then Fleet and last, Stinky. Claudette turned, using the trick Kate taught her, and ran faster. She passed Runt, and came in first place. "CLAUDETTE WINS!" Runt screamed. Fleet came in second and Stinky was third.
"Aww man" Fleet said. Claudette smiled. "How's it feel to lose to a girl?" Claudette said. Fleet smiled "meh. I'm use to it now" then Nars and Margrill, Fleet's dad and sister, walked up. "Fleet" Mars said "it's time to go" Fleet sighed. "What's going on?" He said. Magrill whispered something in his ear. "Oh..." Fleet said.
Then Humphrey walked up to Claudette, Stinky, and Runt. "Hey guys!" He said. Humphrey looked up and saw Nars. "Oh uh...hi" Humphrey said. "Hey" Nars said, not looking at Humphrey.
"You're mom needs you three" Humphrey said, turning around and walking to their den. Claudette waved goodbye to Fleet and Fleet waved goodbye to her. Margrill whisper goodbye to Stinky. They all headed to their own dens.
