I quickly picked up the phone softening my voice "hey..Keri what's up?" "Hey Toni, so I know we've talked a few extra times today than we usually would but I have some news." "what's up keri." I said as I took a sip of my glass of wine "Okayy so you're not gonna believe this Thee Kenneth edmonds is going to come work at the law firm with us tommorow and I kinda was hoping you could show him around and make him feel welcome you know.." I damn near choked on my beverage hearing that what the hell, Kenneth Edmonds is coming to work at our law firm. This can't be he's on billboards he's going to try and outdo me I know he is that son of a bitch . "Are you okay Toni?" Keri said "Yes I am i'm sorry but did you say Kenneth Edmonds like on the billboards you pass while driving by the malls Kenneth..?" "Yes I am and i'm hoping you make him feel welcome goodnight Toni
"Goodnight keri.. see YOU tommorow." I said as I hung up before he could say anything else

It was now the next day and Toni woke up at 5 in the morning just to make sure she was prepared for this. She wanted to show out today to show Kenneth who really runs this law firm. As soon as she got up she immediately prayed that her day went as she planned and then started on her hygiene. After she finished her shower she put on her silk Versace bathrobe and started doing her hair. Usually she'd just straighten it but today she was adding some curls and making sure it looked good. She did her eyelashes and her make up and then she got dressed. Once she was finally ready she got in her mercedes and drove to work.

Kenneth pov
Today I start at a new law firm, my other one got shut down once we started losing clientele to this one. I'm pretty excited some of the best lawyers in the country work there. When I walked in I was extremely nervous but it was going pretty well. My boss greeted me letting me know that my colleague would be here soon to show me around and let me know how things work here since he made it very clear it's completely different from my last place of work. He took me to an office that smelled of Carolina Herreras "Good Girl" perfume and cherries , I loved it but it turned out to not be my office but my colleagues. "put your stuff down here she should be here soon she's running a little late." My boss said "alright sir anything else I should know" "Well she's going to teach you all you need to know but I should warn you not to touch anything she hates when people touch her stuff okay" "Yes, sir." "Alright good luck see you later."
To pass time I went on my phone and scrolled on instagram until she walked in.
