It's almost spooky month, so what better way to celebrate spooky month by writing spooky oneshots? And what better way to write spooky oneshots than to write them about the JITS crew being silly goofy ghost hunters?

Enjoy!

"Are we really doing this?" Skizz asked, glancing at the little screen in front of him showing Impulse and Joker playing a worryingly intense game of Tic-Tac-Toe in the back of the truck. He looked at Tango, who sat next to him driving the vehicle. "I really don't like this, Top."

"Relax," Tango answered, turning on the windshield wipers as the rain picked up once again. "It's not like ghosts actually exist anyway. It's easy money."

Skizz groaned. "Yeah, but if ghosts aren't real," he said, "then why is there an entire organisation dedicated to hunting them?"

Tango shrugged. "Dunno, but if you crap your pants, it's on you."

"I'm not gonna poop my pants, Tango!"

Tango laughed as Skizz's cheeks turned slightly pink from embarrassment. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He smiled at his friend fondly. "You'll be fine," he promised. "Besides, you've got the rest of us to protect you in the case that you do need protecting."

Skizz returned the loving smile. "Okay." He jabbed a finger at Tango's arm. "But you better not pull any pranks, you big jerk-face!"

Joker looked up from the Tic-Tac-Toe board as he felt the truck come to a stop. He heard a wooden smack! and looked over to see Impulse grinning triumphantly at him. He narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "What. Did. You. Do."

Impulse turned up his chin and crossed his arms proudly. "Take a look for yourself," he said, and upon looking back at the board and seeing that Impulse had won (again), Joker gasped.

"You cheater!" he shouted.

"Am not!" Impulse shouted back. "It was literally my turn!"

Joker quirked an unimpressed brow at him. "Oh, really?" he said, and Impulse nodded, confused on why Joker was so suspicious of him. "It's awfully convenient how it's suddenly your turn as soon as I look away."

Impulse narrowed his eyes incredulously, then huffed. "You're just mad because you haven't won a single game this entire ride," he said.

Joker looked away, pouting and crossing his arms. "Am not."

"Are too."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"I am not!"

"Yes, you are!"

"Okay, you babies," Tango said with a goofy smile as he opened the back of the truck, Skizz standing and fidgeting behind him. "Come on out, we're here."

Impulse gave Skizz an almost worried look. "You okay over there, Skizz?" he asked, clambering out of the truck. "You look nervous."

"Nervous?" Skizz repeated, laughing to himself. Oh yeah, he's nervous. "Why would I be nervous? I'm not nervous, I'm never nervous. I don't know what you're talking about. You're crazy, Dipple Dot. Absokutely bonkers- Out. Of. Your. Mind. If you think I'm nervous. In fact, I think you're the nervous one and you're just projecting onto me because- well- because you are!"
