Evergreen kingdom
Lunacrest had eventually fallen asleep on the cold floor of her cell, she luckily still had her cloak on and was using that as her blanket as the small drawstring bag she carried was her pillow.
There was a loud bang on her cell door, she let out a small Yelp as she jumped, her heart racing a bit.
"Chow time!" Someone yelled, slipping what looked like a gross bowl of slop threw the door. She got up and picked up the bowl, she smelled it and made a disgusting noise.
"If you don't like it then you can starve." The guard replied harshly.
"No, I'll eat it."
She take the spoon out of the bowl letting some of the slop back into the bowl, she made a face as she ate a spoonful finally making the guard leave her alone. She took another spoonful. It still tasted gross but it was better than starving, she sat down in the corner again as she slowly ate.
"Hello?"
She looked up from where she was unaware that someone else was down here with her.
"Hello?"
She got up putting her bowl down as she walked to the door looking out.
"Hello?" She called out.
"Who are you?" A voice asked, the voice sounded old and raspy.
She looked around before seeing someone across from her, the woman looked old and fragile.
"I'm... Lunacrest."
The woman gasps and bowed her head in respect, Lunacrest wasn't used to that at all and was actually uncomfortable.
"Your majesty?! What are you doing here?" The old woman asked.
"I'm sorry but, how do you know me?" Lunacrest asked
"Oh I'm sorry princess, I used to work for your parents."
Lunacrest looked at the woman more closely, she saw that her eye color had faded away and there were scars over her eyes."What did they do to you?" She asked
"I refused to tell your Uncle where the young vampire had taken you, it was for your own safety."
Lunacrest sighed sadly as she listened to her speak.
"So it is true? I am the princess?"
"And the rightful heir to the throne, your fathers throne.""I'm sorry this happened to you, I promise I'll do what's right and get back my kingdom and free you."
"That is a big promise your majesty, but how are you going to escape when you're locked up in here?"
Lunacrest was stumped, she didn't know how but she knew that will escape, she needed to, now that she knows the truth.
"Rest your majesty, you need all of your strength to escape.""Yes you're right."
Lunacrest sat down again taking all this information in, she let out a soft sigh as she looked around her cell looking for anything she could use. A dark presence creeped into the cell she noticed and shrank back thinking it was her uncle, but the presence felt calm for some reason.
"Everything will be clear to you now, someone is coming for you be ready to leave." She nodded and looked around until she found a small but loose nail on the side of the stone wall, she pulled it out as hard as she could but her hand slipped making a deep cut. She yelped out in pain, her blood dripping down to the floor slowly, she swallowed the pain and pulled out the nail again this time it came free. The nail was old and rusty but she knew it would do the trick, she needed to wait for the right moment. She sat down in the corner again and grabbed her bag, she pulled out some stuff for her hand she had a small canteen that had very little water left. She ripped up the bottom part of her dress one long piece and one small, she took a small sip of water before pouring the rest of the small amount onto her hand.
She hissed loudly from the stinging pain in her hand. She used the smaller cloth to clean the cut as best as she could, she wrapped the longer one around her hand gently covering it up so it wouldn't get infected. She let out deep breaths as she leaned her head back and closed her eyes, she drifted off into a deep sleep.
She couldn't see anything but she could hear, there was loud crying like a baby crying for it's mother. She could hear swords clashing and fighting off in the distance, then she could see but everything was blurry and very hot like she was in the middle of a fire. She could see reds and orange colors flash around her, she heard another scream.
