Unexpectedly,they fell in love at first sight but due to Lisa's trust issue's and lack of love she never knew what she wanted.

June 1998. It was a hot summers evening in Atlanta,Georgia. Aaliyah and a few of her friends were at the basketball court,kicking back.
"Uht aht girl he was too nasty to even have another date with"Honey scrunched her face up.
"Watchu talking about that man is foineee"Joy squealed.
"That man likes to get around anddd get down with other men plus he eats like a pig"Honey emphasised making the girls gasp.
"Looka that hoe basically,drooling over some muthafucker"Joy joked and nudged honey.
"I am not a hoe"Aaliyah turned around and playfully slapped her friend on the leg.
"Well,you're always checking somebody out".
She stuck her middle finger up at her and glanced back at the girl who,she caught eye contact with.
The girl was quite short and was dressed like a tomboy but Aaliyah found herself drawn to her,she thought she was fly.
The short girl looked away from Aaliyah's eye contact and took a long puff of her blunt before passing it on to a friend.
"Who's that girl with the doe eyes?"She asked Ananda,her bestfriend who was sitting beside her sipping on some lemonade.
"Oh thats lefteye,she's real cool".
She noticed that there was,a few familiar faces around lefteye and she found herself wanting to go talk to her.
But,she was disturbed by an unwanted guest coming over.
"Hey,can we talk?"The guy spoke.
She rolled her eyes at him.
"About what this time?we've been through since,last september and why in the hell would i want to talk to a man matter of fact,a little boy who cheated on me"Aaliyah spat.
"Mhmm i know thats right"Joy clicked her fingers.
"Who's that shawty over there?"Lefteye asked Tupac,her bestfriend.
"The one with wavy hair?thats ananda".
"I know who that is stupid"Lefteye smacked her lips "i'm talking about the one who's talking to that guy right now".
"Ohhh thats Aaliyah she's down to earth but hell that girl don't take no shit...see what i mean,that girl looks like she cussing his ass out"Pac said.
Lisa looked over at them and noticed that she was bickering with whoever the guy was.
"Who is that dude?".
"Thats Damon,her ex...he cheated on her so,she broke up with him and he's been trying to get her back ever since but clearly babygirl takes no shit"Tupac explained.
Lisa's eyebrows furrowed as,she deeply looked at the guy.
"Wait,is that the muthafuckers name who laticia was moaning during sex?".
Pac shrugged his shoulders.
"Ion know,it could be".
"Pass me back my blunt,i'm not even gonna trip today"She said and Pac gave her it back.
Lisa watched as,she saw Aaliyah storm away with her friends following behind her.
"C'mon babygirl i just want to make things right"Damon shouted.
Lisa took a last puff of her blunt and flicked it away.
"Hey"Tionne approached the two "Ya'll coming to Nas's party?".
"I've got a few errands to run but,i'll see ya'll there"Pac said giving them quick hugs before leaving.
"Well,are you?".
"Girl,i know you only want me to go to that party because you have a little crush on him"Lisa playfully rolled her eyes.
"So"Tionne said with attitude.
"You might find yo self someone so,lets go"Tionne took Lisa's arm into hers.
"Tenese,i have already told you that i do not want someone or anything"Lisa spoke sternly.
"Nicole hush we're gonna have a good time tonight without you getting too crazy".
Lisa sighed at her "whatever you say Tionne".
