Beginnings of World War III

This story is about a 26 year old Marine named Kenny Lawson and his following unit members,Charlie, Tito,Kate,and Yassen being deployed into WWIII this is a futuristic time period

Im sitting in the mess hall when my unit is called 'War games' a special training scrimmage ,I stand for the attention."Listen up,it's time to shine and show What Echo is about!".

As we set out weapons and gear in hand,out in the field,"Yo Sgt. maybe we will be able to kick some-yea don't use profanity"as I cut in," around the general you know he is a goodie".*smirks* we walk towards our team flag."ok guys listen this is what going to do." Lawson I want you and yassen to man that turret, Charlie Your going to set mines around the perimeter,Kate your with me up the tower,*picks up a As50 Sniper*.

As Kate and I get into place I immediately contact my men" are y'all ready?",I say into my com,"yes we are Sir",responds Charlie. As Alpha squad moves up the hill,I notice something,it's only one...maybe he's a scout or he's distracting us! I speak into my com, as smoke pops threw the trees seeping into our area making it gloomy. Guys!" "Keep an eye out If they might flank us" Rodger",responds Yassen. We are our heavily out numbered,I know that,they wouldn't try a diversion is we were evenly numbered.

*BOOM* a Grenade blows somewhere as heavy fire comes from hidden enemies,Lawson starts firing."HOLD YOUR FIRE AND TAKE COVER" I yell out "Wait till you identify",I say. I spot a Few rifle men trying to creep up. * I hold my breath and aims for the pressure point of. his training gear,The crack and zip of the paint ball. Hits him and sends him down*" One down,but 4 more coming north on u Lawson fire" I give command for engagement.

After a wave of riflemen,that felt like an Army,we are done with the battle."Wonderful Echo squad!",says the general."you guys showed how much of a marine y'all really are! Now Go eat"

--mess hall--

"Man did we kick their a**" says Yassen. "Yea you think so u little PUNK!" ,Says Connor from his table." Oh yes I do,now don't get pissed cuz your precious Alphas got pwned" I reply harshly,when he sends

a hard right into my jaw. I stand there holding my jaw,"ow...haha it's on!" I send a jab right into his lip followed by. A slam onto the hard steel floor. I wrap my hand around his neck, while sending elbows and hard jabs into his eyes as mouth with my free hand. He gets a good hook on me and flips me over,we both stand up in our fighting styles. He sends a right hook to me,but I easily catches his fist and grabs a tray and cracks it over him.

Suddenly the alarms ring,"WE ARE UNDER-",a bullet zips threw his skull as he falls helplessly.
