Introduction To Katherine

HAY GUYS! Well I haven't updated in a while but here's my new story. I hope you enjoy!

(Television buzzing) with the winds at least 90 mph and the waves 154 feet high this hurricane is probably the worst one yet. destroying the whole city of (bzzzz) connection cuts out. "Well at least I won't be there" says Katherine "I'm on a trip to Atane."

LETS FLASH BACK 48 HOURS AGO.

Katherine was called up to her fathers office, which is the tallest building in the city of Tokyo (If you didn't read the summary then Katherine is the daughter of a hotel owner. Her father is also the richest man in China.) unaware of the task that she was about to be given. Katherine is the second in command of the company Lamline Hotels. She has helped her father soar from number 30 in the world to number 2. The number 1 hotel group is The Idée Fixe. Owned by the famous Gates family. She always tries to overcome this company but they always seem to be one step ahead.

Anyway, as she heads up to the 96th floor the sound of Beethoven's 53rd sonata plays. She fingers the notes as If hitting every note perfectly. She has played the piano since she was 5. She's won 89 trophies for her talent of piano. Also she's a tennis champ. She beat Serena Williams 8-6 when she was 13. There was only one person she couldn't beat; however, you'll find out about them later. you can say she's a perfect girl. She's talented at music, sporty, smart, plus she's rich.

She hears the elevator interrupt the sonata and exits into a office which could be a condo. inside sits a skinny man, with glasses, snowy white hair, red-Apple cheeks, and a beard. That was her grandfather. Across from the old man was a younger lad around 48. That was her father. He was short,but skinny, and had a ponytail that was the color of pink lemonade.

"Sit next to grandfather will ya?" Her father asked. Her grandfather always hung out with her father even if he had no business. She sat where she was told and listened as her father began to speak "As you know our family owns 99 hotels in various of areas. And it time to build our hundredth. I have decided to put you in charge of the location and the whole program. I will give you the money, people and support."

This was a HUGE chance for Katherine. It was most likely she would get all the money once her father died but she didn't know for sure. However, if she did this program it would be definite. But there was a problem. Katherine never really chose the ideal location and the design. she just helped. "Well, we'll just think of that later" she thought. she accepted the job and Walked out the room. As she left she mumbled these words to herself "I'm going to make this the best hotel yet." and shut the door behind her.

Behind the door that was just shut the two men began to talk.

"I don't think putting her in charge of this task is a good idea" said the father.
"She's changed a lot since she was little she doesn't care about the comfort of the people in the hotel anymore she only cares about the money."

The grandfather was silent. Then he said "she can't always rely on you the air must know what to do and how to do it even when she has to take time and help the people." The air grew stiff. "Now I'll excuse myself" he said and he left.

Now let's get back to Katherine.
As Katherine waited for the elevator to arrive to the main lobby, which is probably going to take 5 minutes, she was thinking of ideas. Hawaii? Bahamas? The Caribbean? If she could she would choose one of those places to have the new hotel but her dad already owned a hotel in each. "This is harder than I thought" she muttered to herself. Just then a man with a black suit entered the elevator. He looked around her age perhaps and looked business professional but young.
In the elevator there was an awkward silence through the air. It was finally broken with a buzz and the light flickering. "Oh great! The elevator company didn't fix this, again; even though I called them. Im definitely calling another elevator company." Katherine thought, not paying any attention to the jumpy, shivering man right beside her. He seemed to be scared (no duh).

Katherine knew that a scared costumer was not good for the business so she tried to strike a convo.

"Soooooo...... What do you work as?" She asked.
He answered quickly and brief, "my father owns a business."

There was another moment of silent. She could still hear the mans teeth chittering together so she tried to continue the convo.

"What business?" She asked.

"A hotel company" he replied.

She wanted to ask more but then the lights turned on and the elevator continued playing Motzarts requiem mass in D minor. The man sighed a sigh of relief. The rest of the elevator ride was silent.

When she left the elevator she said goodbye and left.

Now back to planning she started planning once she arrived in her condo.
Maybe somewhere in America. Daytona? No her father already had a hotel there. Miami? Nah to many hotels owned by Idée Fixe were there. WHERE SHOULD SHE BUILD IT!!!

After thinking for a while she decided to watch a little TV to inspire her ideas. First she thought Africa, but everyone was poor there. Then she thought Japan but the air there wasn't very nice since the nuclear bombs in WW1 still effected the island. Finally, she came the the show 90202 (not 90201). 90202 is a show about the island of Atane. "IM A GENIUS!" She said.
