Sasaki had asked Miyano out for a date as a random spur of the moment, but he never imagined Miyano would actually accept his offer.
He had always turned down his offers to outings before, but after they had started dating, Miyano began to be more open with him.

But, surprise aside, he was very excited. He had remembered passing by the Inokashira park multiple times, but had never found the right time to go. He figured at least now was as good a time as any. At least he didn't have to go alone.

When he got to the park, he saw Miyano at the entrance, waiting for him, holding a blanket in hand.

"Miya-chan!" Sasaki shouted to him, waving his hand in the air to signal his arrival.

"Sasaki!" Miya-chan replied, a soft smile spread across his face, as he gently waved his hand in return.

They then walked into the park and chatted idlely, hand in hand. All the while their other hands carried the blanket and a small basket of food and drinks.

They were able to find a quiet spot beneath a large cherry blossom away from the other park goers. Miyano set down the cream colored blanket and sat himself down against the tree.
Meanwhile, Sasaki sat down next the Miyano and put the basket to his left after sitting down.

Sasaki gently lace his fingers with Miya-chan's and they sit in comfortable silence for a while, looking over the lake as the sun started to set.

After a while they ate the snacks Sasaki had brought, making sure to not bring something too sweet for Miya, knowing well enough that he doesn't like super sweet drinks or food.
Instead he brought savory mochi and some unsweetened teas for the both of them.

"Thank you Sasaki, I'm glad you remembered my dislike for sweets." Miya-chan chuckled, unsure of how to converse with his boyfriend.

"Of course Miya-chan, I wouldn't forget such an important detail for the world." Sasaki replied, laughing softly at the end.

Miyano then leaned against Sasaki, apologizing for his drowsiness. To which Sasaki brushed off and said that it was no problem and that if he was tired he could sleep against him for as long as he wants.

Once Miyano woke up from his short nap he noticed that it was almost fully dark out. Thus, the reason being that the fireflies were out and about.

Miyano slowly stirs from his slumber, groggily looking up to his boyfriend, who at the moment was looking down at him fondly.

"Ah-" Miya-chan exclaimed, blush creeping up onto his cheeks.

Sasaki chuckled softly at this notion.
"Do you know that you're cute when you sleep?" He stated boldly.

To this Miyano's blush only grew to a deeper shade of red.

"N-no. I don't know, how can I?" He replied.

"Well, you can't know unless someone tells you." Sasaki says, deciding to flirt a little with his love.

"I guess I have you to do that for me." Miya-chan retorts, having decided to join in on flirting rather than falling into his self consciousness and fear.

"I guess you do." Sasaki replied, looking down at Miya-chan once more.

Fireflies dance around them, as the sun finally starts to set.

Sasaki starts to put his hand against Miyano's face, but then he stopped mid way.

"May I?" He askes Miyano.

"You may." Miya-chan replies.

As soon as those words left his lips, Sasaki's were on his in seconds.

The kiss was soft yet passionate, just sweet enough to convey his feelings once more to his lover.

Luckily for him, Miya reciprocated the kiss, with just as much emotion and feeling as the other.

Then after a minute or two they broke apart, just realashing in the moment shared between them.

"I love you Miya-chan." Sasaki says warmly.

"I love you too Sasaki." Replied Miyano with as much warmth as Sasaki.
