Charlotte:
"Hunny, I have something to tell you," I recall my mom saying. "Your father has been cheating on me, and we're getting a divorce."
Ever since those words came out of my moms mouth, my life has been a hell.
Right after my mom left, she was replaced with another person. Queen Helena.

"Meet your new mom," my father smiles, "Helena."
I must admit, Helena was beautiful. She has long red hair, green eyes, pale skin, and freckles spread across her entire face. Her lips are plump and a dark red.
I stare in awe at the wonderful woman. "Hello, Charlotte," she smiles, her voice as sweet as honey. "H-Hey," I mumble. I can't believe I just stuttered.
"Anyways, I need to head off for work," my father beams, "you two can bond."
My father walks out of the door. "It's wonderful to meet you," the elegant woman smiles. "You too," I respond.
Helena walks closer to me. "You look tired," she caresses my face, her soft skin gliding against mine. "You should rest."
"Yeah- okay," I breath, walking away.

I twist the knob to my bedroom door. I slowly open the door, closing it behind me.
I strip my dress, leaving me in just my bra and underwear. I begin to search in my closet. I pull on blue plaid shorts and a black cropped top.
I walk over to my bed and sit down. I scroll on Instagram, not really paying attention.
