You and Me Against the World

Prologue

"I don't care what others would say about us. I only care about you." He said with sincerity.

"You don't understand Yohan. You have a better life if we're not together. They're right. From the start I know that what we have isn't right. Simula palang mali na. I'm sorry but we have to end this." I said to him wishing he would change his mind and just let this thing go.

"No Amber! What happened to our me and you against the world babe? Nakalimutan mo na? After all the things I've done for this relationship bibitaw ka nalang na parang walang nangyare? Are you f*cking kidding me woman?!" He said while grabbing my left arm tightly. I was furious seeing him like this. Hindi ako sanay na ganito siya. I'm having doubts if I really wanted to end things with him. This is insane I know. But what can I do?

I was already crying and ready to tell him that I won't go anywhere when he said, "Fine! If this is what you want then I'll give it to you! But remember this, I will treat you as a stranger. So don't you dare show your f*cking face to me. Because from now on, you're nothing to me." And with that, he left.

Because from now on, you're nothing to me.

Those words keep on echoing in my mind. The only man I love left me. He left me not knowing the real reason behind this mess. Hindi niya alam. Maybe it's better that way. Para mabilis nalang niya akong makalimutan. Para sakanya naman to. Para sa mas magandang buhay na hindi ako kasama.
