Mia Evans' diary writes after the explosion

Hello, I'm Mia Evans and today you will follow my story. 

Four years after the explosion of the polluting bomb 

It's already been 4 years since me and my family were chosen to live in deep mines, we were chosen thanks to the family fortune. I've seen so many middle-class people almost die in front of my eyes. All because of the Doomsday machine a polluting bomb.

You know we do not get used to not living on earth, we can no longer see the color of the sky, we can no longer feel the wind whipping our face. Honestly, I miss it enormously. I met my best friend, her name is Clarrissa Muller. As surprising as it may seem, it comes from the middle class. She managed to enter the mine shaft thanks to her brother who was a senior officer in the army. Their parents were not so lucky because they were too old 

Clarisa's brother's name is Simon Muller. 

The head of the caves is said to be Michael Smith. It imposes a dictatorship that few people can bear but no one has the courage to rebel under penalty of being exterminated by his minions. Simon creates meetings with a number of rebels it is Clarissa who told me about it. They plan to steal the ship that Smith has created to land in orbit around the earth, according to them the ship would be equipped with greenhouse and many other things that serve to live without the need of outside help. In short I admit that I do not understand much everything they say, but if they arrive has left this hole I sincerely think I would follow them.

Me and my family have an "apartment" dug deeper into the mine. Smith already plans to create land expeditions to see the progress of the situation outside and he also wants to make it underwater with submarines. My father is unfortunately volunteering for land expeditions. We do not know when the first expedition will take place but according to him it should not delay.

Fifty years after the explosion of the polluting bomb 

It's already been thirty three years since Simon made his revolution, but it didn't go as planned. Several of his friends were killed by Smith, he gave up the idea of stealing his spaceship. Smith tells us that we would still have fifty years to live underneath. Moreover, as Smith grew older become a little more understandable, he reduced his dictatorship a little but at least he gave us freedom. I am now fifty five years old, I have recently married to Hiro a man I met in the infirmary of the mine. Yes, I managed to become a doctor. Its been now 6 months that I am pregnant and I already had a little girl who stays with Clarissa who is still well, moreover she works with me from time to time. My daughter's is Chiara she's arlready ten years old.

I don't know if I'd be there to review what the earth has become from the exploration of the team where my father is. We know that there would be giant ants, plants in the colors of the rainbow or plants become carnivor, he told me it was like the time of dinosaurs and unicorns. I have laught when he told me this  and I told her I was looking forward to seeing with my own eyes.  

One hundred years after the explosion of the polluting bomb  

Hello, I'm Chiara the daughter of Mia. My mother died for 20 years already, before leaving she asked me to describe everything I saw outside in her little notebook that she loved so much, I miss her so much and yet I am forced to live without her. I wish she had discovered the new world with me but I will discover it with my little brother. I don't even know if we can live in this new world but we'll see.We have the right to go out that tomorrow so we will wait for today again, so I will write everything tomorrow.

the next day

It's now 9 p.m. We've been walking around all day, which is what my grandfather had described 50 years ago. There are little blue characters people call his smurf. It's the first time in my life that I see things like this (at the same time it's the first time that I get out of this mine). The flowers are super pretty, there are all the colors. Ants are not that big. There are wolves with three heads or cats with three eyes on their heads.

It's scary but also exciting to find out. I don't know if animals were like this 100 years ago when men were still living on land and not in mines. Nature has regained all its rights it straddles the rest of the house that exist There are really carnivorous plants, according to some animals would have all become herbivor I do not know why.

Here I would not be how to write more for you mom, you watch over us from up there, we love you very much and we miss you enormously.I will store this newspaper in a place on which no one can touch it.
