AN: I know I have Mary Kate/Ashley (don't know which one this is lol) on full house as the cover but it's the closest I can get to a baby/toddler picture that can resemble Elizabeth so yeah....
Chapter 1
You have worked hard to get far in life. You did what was expected of you by your parents: getting straight As, going to college, getting multiple college degrees, getting and holding a good stable job as a teacher, and doing whatever it is to make the people around you happy. Now, here you are, about to be 30 and you're still wondering if your life has had any meaning at all. You wonder if you are even happy with the choices you have made because of the people around you. Sure, they mean well but was it really for you or was it for them?
You contemplate your life as you wait at the intersection for the lights to turn green on your way to the grocery store. As you gently hit the gas pedal on green, you fail to notice the truck that comes straight for your car until it is too late. The next thing you know, you see your whole life flashing by: When you were born, seeing your mother's face; you see your first steps, your first words, your first experiences; you see yourself going to school, being bullied for being a nerd and making the minimum of friends as you focus on school; you see yourself walking on the stage receiving your college diploma; you see yourself in the classroom as a teacher for the first time; you see it all. You faintly hear sirens and people talking – mumbling – and not being able to make out their conversations. Everything goes black.

Marlene's POV
"Hey baby, you're so beautiful. Elsie, look at our girl." A gentle baritone spoke out as I tried to open my eyes. The bright lights make it difficult to see clearly so I reach my arms up in an attempt to block out the light with my hands. My arms feel so heavy. Why is that?
"Yes, Angus. She is beautiful. She'll be a little heartbreaker when she grows up, I'm sure of it." A soft voice replied back. Her voice is soothing and sweet. It makes me want to gravitate towards her.
"Not before those venoms go through me first. No one is touching my baby girl." The man chuckled as he spoke. "Look, look, she's opening her eyes!"
I can see a young couple look at me with each love and affection. The woman is adorn with soft blonde curls and blue eyes while the man sports caramel brown locks and light green eyes. "Who are you two?" I tried to voice out but it was all jumbled up.
"Yes, baby! We're mom and dad. We love you so much, our little Marlene." Marlene? Is that me? I thought to myself as I finally took notice of my hands. They are TINY. "What did you do to me?" I tried speaking again but the only sounds that came out of my mouth were babblings. Realization hits me, I am the baby they are talking about. I must have reincarnated. Reincarnation is real... But if it is, should I be this conscious as a baby? I remember driving in my car after work. I remember my life as a teacher. I remember my family who always have such high expectations of me. I remember everything. How?
_________________________Time Skip________________________
A day turns into weeks. Weeks turn into months. Months turn into 2 years. It's been 2 years since I reincarnated and I have observed the family and world in which I am in. My full name is Marlene Elizabeth McKinnon. I am currently the only daughter of Angus and Elspeth McKinnon. We live in a small one story cottage somewhere I believe to be Great Britain. My parents are – in a lack of better words – particular. They make things happen like moving things without touching them, making things appear out of nowhere, and more. It's like magic. What's surprising is that everything they have done IS magic. What's more surprising is when I moved a book off the shelf when I tried to reach for it. My parents were most proud despite the fact that the book flew across the room and broke a vase.
"You can do magic already at such a young age! You're going to be a wonderful witch!" My father exclaimed.
"Witch?" I asked tilting my head to the side in confusion.
"Yes, witch. What's what you are. Mum is also a witch. You can't control it now but with a bit of practice and once you go to Hogwarts, you'll master it in no time!" Hogwarts?! No way. No, no, no, no. I know exactly where I'm at now. Or more precisely, what I'm in. I'm in Harry Potter! But Marlene wasn't a character in the movie nor book series, is she? No! She is! She's Lily Potter's Hogwarts friend. She died during the first wizarding war with her entire family. I remember now! I'm her?!?!
