One day, an office worker died due to a stab in his abdomen. He was called Mikami Satoru , age 37 , a virgin. Due to a 'miracle' or rather an accidental summon he was given a second life. He reincarnated in the Cardinal World but not as a human rather as a monster. The monster, he reincarnated as ,was one of the weakest kind - a Slime.

Though he did reincarnate but he was destined not to be ordinary. Due to his strong desires and will , he was granted his 'Unique Skills' by the Voice of the Worlds. With the addition of a strong skill set, he also gained a Unique Slime body created by the power of a True Dragon.

The cave he reincarnated into just happened to be a sealed prison for a True Dragon, a being which stands at the apex of all the species and living beings. They are the manifestation of worlds elements. This particular True Dragon happened to be The Storm Dragon - Veldora who just happened to be a genius troublemaker. He was sealed by an unknown hero, 300 years ago. This made him suffer a long solitude which unexpectedly made it easier for our slime friend to befriend him.

The new Slime gained knowledge about this world , a best friend and most importantly a name 'Rimuru' which would be inscribed on his soul. While Veldora gained a best friend and his new passion - a cure for his boredom. They both shared a family name 'Tempest' as a sign of equal status and our little slime promised Veldora to set him free asap.

Rimuru devoured Veldora and stored him in his 'stomach', a sub-skill of his Unique Skill , till the day he was able to break the 'Unlimited Imprisonment'. Rimuru continued with his goal of leaving the cave while unaware of the distress caused by the disappearance of Veldora throughout the world. He gained many skills along the way and was quite familiar with the usage of his skills by then.

After leaving the cave, he encountered goblins. They pleaded for his support and help to which he agreed. He soon subdued the Direwolves ,the cause of worry for the goblins. He then gave them names and took both goblins and Direwolves as his subordinates. He then learned of the Dwarven Kingdom where Dwarves lived. His little village lacked craftsmen so he took a trip there.

After all the events in the Dwarven Kingdom, he returned to his village. He brought along four craftsmen. His village started to grow and expand.

After a few days.

Rimuru noticed screams in the forest. He went in a hurry. There he found a group of four people. Three were terrified while the fourth one, a girl in white clothes with a mask, was standing in front of a monster. She looked exhausted and was about to be attacked by the monster. Suddenly, Rimuru came in time and saved them. They were escorted to his village where they rested and opened up about their purpose of coming in the forest.

Rimuru, being a friendly guy ,soon made friends with them. The girl, Shizu, he saved was revealed to be his destined one. The next day, the spirit in her body went out of control and took over her body. Rimuru saved her with the help of his friends and devoured the spirit- Ifrit. He then fulfilled the last wish of his destined one which was that he devoured her. She was dying and Rimuru could not save her so he decided to let her rest within him. After devouring her, he gained a human form through his skill 'mimic'.

A young girl around 10 years of age with light blue hairs and golden eyes. The beauty and cuteness would even melt the coldest person's heart but sadly this beauty didn't have any gender.
