Jimin's phone buzzed with a message, and he glanced down to see a text from one of his friends.

They were planning a dinner get-together.

The message read,

"Hey, Jimin! It's been a while. How about dinner this weekend?"

Jimin looked up from his phone to see Jungkook sitting on the couch, engrossed in a book, silently contemplating what he should say. Jimin knew that Jungkook sometimes felt left out when he hung out with his more extroverted friends.

Jimin put his phone down and moved closer to Jungkook.

"Hey, baby," he said softly, "my friends are planning a dinner this weekend. I want to go, but I don't want to leave you alone."

Jungkook looked up, his eyes reflecting his uncertainty.

"You should go. Enjoy...you know? You need to have fun. Rather than hang out with this boring person," he said, pointing to himself, and then his face fell, as though hit by a sudden thought, "You won't leave me...even though I'm boring?"

Jimin's heart ached at the self-doubt in Jungkook's voice. He cupped Jungkook's cheek gently, his thumb stroking the younger's skin.

"Jungkook, you are far from boring. I love being around you. You bring so much happiness into my life."

He leaned in to place a sweet kiss on Jungkook's lips, hoping to chase away any lingering insecurities.

"But," he continued, "if you don't want me to go, I won't. Your happiness is more important to me."

Jungkook smiled, the warmth returning to his eyes.

"No, it's okay, Jimin. I don't want you to miss out on time with your friends because of me."

Jimin couldn't help but smile back. "You're the best, Kookie."

Then a thought struck him and his face lit up, "How about this? Why don't you come with me? That way, I can enjoy dinner with my friends and your presence beside me. There's nothing I'd want more than for you to share such moments of joy with me."

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise, and then a shy smile graced his lips. "You really don't mind?"

Jimin leaned in to kiss him again, more passionately this time. "Not at all. I want you to feel comfortable, and I promise you that I'll be beside you the entire time, baby. You're my everything."

Jungkook blushed, "okay. I'll go with you."
