Jisoo's POV.
The next morning,
Since the girls and I have been on vacation, we gathered to spend some time together in the living room.
Lisa, always full of energy, turned on music on the TV and started dancing, while Rosé was learning the notes of a song on her guitar. Jennie and I were sitting on the couch, discussing which movie to watch.
Suddenly, my phone started vibrating.
I looked at the screen in surprise and answered the call.
As I spoke on the phone, a radiant smile formed on my face, it was exciting news. After ending the call, I looked at my friends with happiness and nervousness.
"Girls!" I exclaimed with excitement, "I just received a call, I'm starting the Snowdrop series filming today!"
My friends eyes widened in surprise, and I felt their support and pride.
We hugged and celebrated the news.
"That's amazing, Jisoo!" Jennie exclaimed with a huge smile "We're so proud of you!"
Lisa jumped for joy and added "I can't wait to watch the series! I'm sure you'll be amazing!"
Rosé, with a gleam in her eyes, sweetly said "Jisoo, you deserve all the success in the world! we'll be here cheering for you!"
I was touched by their support and held my friends' hands to thank them.
"Thank you, girls! You are my family and my support, I couldn't do this without you."
In that moment, I felt love flowing in my heart. Seeing my groupmates sharing my joy and supporting me was truly special, and I knew I could count on them at every step of my journey.
Jennie's POV.
It's almost time for Jisoo to start filming.
I can't shake this feeling of discomfort as I watch Jisoo disappear behind the door. I know she's dedicated to her work, but I can't help feeling a twinge of sadness as I see her go.
Later, Jisoo calls me.
"Hey Jennie, how are you?" Jisoo asks cheerfully.
"I'm fine" I reply with my voice a bit hesitant.
"I just finished shooting my scene!" she exclaims "It was amazing, the director loved it!"
I'm happy for her, but then she says...
"But... I need to tell you something" her voice falters.
"What is it?" I ask, with my heart racing.
She pauses for a moment before confessing "I'll have a kissing scene on the next shooting day. I know it's just acting, but I wanted to tell you before you heard it from someone else."
My heart sinks. I try to appear brave and supportive, but deep down, I'm struggling to control my jealousy.
"I understand" I say, almost whispering.
Jisoo senses the sadness in my response and asks "Are you okay, Jennie?"
"I'll be fine" I force some happiness into my words.
"I'm glad you're okay too."
She realizes something is bothering me but doesn't press the issue.
"Okay, I need to get back to the set" she says "We'll talk later, okay?"
"Of course" I reply with an almost inaudible voice.
As soon as I hang up the phone, I sigh deeply.
I know I need to support Jisoo's acting career, but it's harder than I imagined so I curl up in bed, feeling a bit lost and lonely.
