Walking out the classroom with Gus, I look to the side when I hear someone call my name. As promised, Amity was there and ready to take me to my next class. We bid our farewells to Gus and made our way to the abominations classroom.
We got to the classroom a bit earlier than most of the students and the teacher. Those that came in would either drop their bags and leave or hang around the outside of the classroom or the classroom door, waiting for the teacher too come.
Amity kept me updated on all the things i needed, then we talked about random things till the class started.
"Good morning class, as you can all see we have a new student so please be nice to them. Could you please identify yourself by standing up and introduce yourself."
I gulped as my breath suddenly got heavy. My eyes scattered around the classroom as I slowly stood up, sweat dripping down my face as they all turned their heads to look at me, some laughing and others sending remarks to their friends.
I looked down and gripped the hem of my shirt as Amity tapped me a little. "Are you okay?" She asked.
She was the only one who didn't look at me weirdly or with pity, instead, she looked at me me with genuine concern and worry. She took my hand and gently squeezed it which made my face heat up a bit as i slowly looked up and introduced myself.
"My name's Luz Noceda.. and I'm from the human realm..." The teacher looked me up and down before signaling for me to sit down, and starting their lesson for the day
"Hey Luz... I know i'm in no position to ask, but are you okay? You seemed a bit shaken up" Amity whispered to me as we shared a text book. I was taken back a bit but then gently smiled.
"Thank you for worrying querida.." I said and gave her a small smile, in which she returned with a bigger one, confused, but still smiled, then focused back on the lesson. I sighed internally, as i began to focus into the lesson too.

Lunch came around and luckily i had brought some things from the owl house so that I could eat. As i turned from my locker, I roughly got shoved back into it, my breathing started to get faster and faster as i was picked up and thrown against the locker again, this time more harder as i fell to the ground, trying to regain my breath.
I looked up to be met with a girl, having 3 eyes and 2 other girls behind her. She squat a bit to be met with my height level, roughly grabbing me by my chin, forcing me to look to her as sweat trickled down my forehead.
"Well look at what we have here girls... A human, in a witches school!" She spoke as the girls behind her laughed. I felt the fear in me, scared of what they would do to me, so i just sat there, forced to comply with whatever they told me to in hopes that I would be left alone soon. But no, the quite opposite happened.
I slowly opened my eyes as i felt the pressure on my chin lessen, all for me to be met with a kick to my face, i feel to the ground yet again as i felt that all so familiar metallic feeling in my mouth, before i coughed it up and spat it out.
"So what are we now? Mute? Let me here ur fucking voice Luz-er!" She said as she kicked me in my stomach multiple times, before i finally let out a groan, coughing up more blood. I looked at her, noticing the sinister smile that was forming on her face. "So u can make noises.. Lets see how u handle this!" I immediately braced myself for the punch, but before she could go through with it someone called out to her.
"Boscha stop!" I turned to look at the person, It was Amity. She immediately rushed over to my side as she helped me sit straight up.
"Have you lost your damn mind!?" Amity asked her as she helped me stand up.
"So what mittens, who here's gonna stop me over the poor little human?" She said snickering I could see amity's face turn red, probably from embarrassment as she shook her head and sighed.
"Boscha we both know you don't want the principal to get involved cause of your grugby scholarship, so please let's leave it at this. C'mon Luz can you stand?" She said as she slowly helped me up to my feet, walking me to the clinic as some healing track students were there.
"Emira! Could you help me for a bit?" She asked, then a girl who looked similar to her, just slightly taller peaked over a wall and rushed over. They both sat me down on a white bed as Emira held my hand, drawing a blue circle in the air, and I felt the pain in my stomach reduce overtime.
"You might want to rest up for a bit, I'll notify the teachers." Amity said as she was about to leave, I grabbed her wrist "Wait!" I said. She looked back at me and gave me a confused face. I looked at our hands and immediately let go of her hand 'Ahhhh she probably thinks I'm a weirdo now! Good job Luz!!'
"Uhm.. I'm fine I can go to my lessons, don't worry about me.. hehe" I said awkwardly scratching my neck she gave me a skeptical look before sighing. "Alright then, at least let me walk you to ur next class" She said and I nodded my head.

I got to the owl house fairly quick, as all i wanted was to lay down on my bed and fall asleep, but as usual hooty was awake and waiting for me.
"HOOT! HOOT! LUZ YOU'RE BA-" He started but I quickly cut him off. "Yes hooty I'm back but i got to go in now, bye!" I said as I rushed in, removing my shoes. "Oh kid! You're back, how do you feel about running a few errands for me before you go up?" She asked, I physically groaned because I couldn't refuse her.
"Sure Eda, I'm going to go sleep now, how bout in a few hours? I beet the night market will have what you-re probably looking for." I said as i continued walking up the stairs. "You're right kid! don't worry you can keep sleeping I'll go myself!"
I made it too my room, dropped my bag on the ground and flopped on my bed. "Time to get some sleep..." I mumbled to myself before falling asleep.
'Today could have gone better...'
