Mason and Hadrian

I woke up back in the library, with the sun shinning in my eyes. I sat up and tried to process what had just happened. I sat there confused and hurt for a while. It was just a dream Sage, theres nothing wrong with the house, no one named Charles and his wife lived there, or at least not that I know of, and theres definitely no beautiful, mysterious man. Don't worry, just go on with your life.

I shook my head thinking about this, i went back to looking out the window. I was dieing of boredom, but the school bell went off and school was now over. I laughed at myself, saved by the bell. I walked down the halls, looking for away to exit the building. As i was walking i walked straight into a person, i dropped my binders and my phone.

I looked up at a guy who looked like he was my age. He had light brown straight hair. Soft and comforting blue eyes, and a nice jaw line. He was very handsome. He looked at me and chuckled, i smiled. He bent down to pick up my things and i joined him, we where picking up papers that fell out of my binders. We went to grab the same paper, and our hands touched.

His hand was cool and inviting, it made me want to hug him and be with him. We both stood back up and he looked at the ground for a while before looking back up. "Here" he said handing me my papers. His voice was so beautiful, almost light. "Im Mason" he held out his hand for me to shake his hand, oh god.

I slowly took his hand in my hand and shook it a little, "Im Sage" When i told him my name i thought he was going to get freaked out like everyone else. Instead he just smiled. "The new girl, right?" he asked. I nodded "Thats me, everyone around here seems to now me" he laughed and pulled his hand away. He looked at the clock on the wall next to us. "Ive got to get going, but it was nice meeting you, maybe ill see you around" he smiled at me then turned and left. I just stood there probably looking like an idiot as usual.

I took out my phone and called my dad to come and pick me up."Hey dad, can you come and pick me up at the school?" I asked into the speaker. "Not right now Sage, me and your mother are unpacking boxes." i groaned as he said this. "Ill try to pick you up at four, but if i cant you have to walk home, sorry, love you." and with that he hung up the phone.

Great its 3:30, most likely wont be able to pick me up. I walked around the school to find someplace to sit while i waited to see if my dad could actually get me. I finally found some benches outside to sit on. Thank god i have my jacket, i would be freezing by now. Its the ending of fall, so of course its cold out.

I sat there in the bench for what seemed like forever to me. It was getting dark out now, i looked at my phone, it was 4:26 and no missed calls. I groaned and and grabbed my bag, and started walking away from the bench. I didn't even know my way around this town. I was walking for about twenty minutes, i didn't know where i was and it was already getting dark. I was on a street called washington lane when the sun went completely down. The only light i had was couple of street lights. I tried to call my dad but he did answer, my mom didn't pick up too.

I heard footsteps coming towards me, i started to walk faster. I seriously didn't like the thought of being rapped or killed. The footsteps sped up, and i felt a hand on my shoulder, i turned around quickly and kneed the person. Then i noticed the familiar raven hair color, it was Tori. I hadn't seen her science the little principle situation.

She held her stomach in a crouching position, and painted. I stood there shocked, i had just kneed the only friend i had right now. "Oh my god, Tori I'm so sorry i didn't know it was you!" i helped her back up into a standing position. She looked at me and chuckled. "Its okay, i did sneak up on you" she said hold her stomach a little. "What are you doing anyways?" she asked confused.

I told her about how i was lost and that i didn't know how to get back to my house. She offered to give me a ride there and i quickly accepted. Since she lived on this street she took me to see her house and meet her parents. She told them she was giving me a rid to my house, and they told her to drive carefully. Her parents are not what i expected them to be. Im not really sure why but i thought they would have piercings and tattoos. People who didn't really care what their kids did, but her parents were the loving kind.

Her mom was short but still taller then me, with soft brown shoulder length hair. And she had Tori's eyes, or Tori had her eyes. You could tell she was aged but she was still very pretty, she wore the classic mom jeans with a cute button up sweater. Her dad was tall, and also had raven black hair, so i could tell where that gene came from. His features where sharp, and he was pretty handsome for an older guy. I could see why Mrs.Walker married him.

They smiled at me as i said goodbye, we went out to the driveway and got in her car. She had a 2013 grey Sonata, it was a nice car. I was jealous, mostly because i don't even have a car yet. She turned the car on and pulled out of the driveway. Mason kept crossing my mind along with the mystery guy. "Tori, whose Mason?" i asked. She looked at me confused.

"I don't really know him that well, he's really shy, why?" she asked still looking at the road. "I met him today, he seemed really nice.." it wouldn't matter anyways, ill probably never even talk to him again. I noticed we where on my street, i pointed to my house, but she told me she already knew which one it was, strange. I thanked her and said goodbye. I walked up to the front door and grabbed my keys from my bag and unlocked the door.

I walked straight up to my room and put my bag and jacket in the corner. I took off my shoes and got changed into to my night close, which mostly consisted of sweatpants and a tank top. I got out my book and started reading it in my chair. I started to get really tired and looked at my clock. It was already 9:16 pm, i kept reading until everything was getting hazy. I must of fallen asleep and was now dreaming, because i felt someone took the book from my hands.

Two strong arms picked me up from the chair and laid me on the bed, i felt my soft covers on me. The person kissed my forehead "Goodnight Sage" i heard a familiar husky voice say. I laid there for a little while, not wanting to move. I didn't want him to leave for the second time. Sudden realization came upon me.

It was him, he was here, in my room, or in a dream, i don't know. I had to ask him questions, i needed to know anything about him. I need to know his name "Whats you're name?" I asked slowly, trying not to fall asleep. He whispered into my ear softly "Hadrian" And with that i fell asleep.
