Kacey's POV

As I walked into the house after dropping Jack off at school, Eddie was already gone and at work. As I stayed home cause Bobby was scared of letting me back. I understood his reasoning. I watched the news as Eddie and Buck popped up on the news.

"Um ma'am, you need to move. We need our space to work. Cap's orders." Eddie said to the newscaster.

The Newscaster still didn't move. Instead, she tried interviewing Eddie.

"What's it like without your full team here on sight? I notice that one of your paramedics is gone. The one who got shot willingly." The red head had said angering Eddie.

Bobby stepped in and pushed her cameraman away as he stepped back to work. I continued to watch as Eddie turned back to help the others with them. Bobby jumped in to start helping as Buck was struggling. The cameraman zoned in on Buck struggling. I growled, standing up too fast. I fell back down onto the couch as I sighed, not being able to help. I turned off the news, throwing the remote across the room. I got up slowly and went to my bedroom as I got into bed falling asleep.

A few hours passed by, I got up to Buck walking into my house with Jack and Lucy from the hospital. I looked at them with a confused look on my face.

"Are we doing home visits now? I hope I don't get charged extra for this." I giggled looking towards Lucy.

"Oh no, Buck just mentioned that he needed to drop Jack off and I wanted to check in and make sure you were okay and doing well." Lucy said.

I smiled and nodded as Jack walked out of his room after putting his bag away. Buck walked over to me and hugged me, rubbing my back. I hugged back as he pulled away wrapping his arm around Lucy. I smiled noticed that Buck was happier than ever before. Jack started his homework in the kitchen as Buck and Lucy left to go on their date. Jack was working on his homework as I started on dinner. Chris and Eddie walked in a couple of hours later, we all sat down at the dinner table and started to eat.

"So how was your day?" I asked Eddie across the table.

"Fine." Eddie said blankly.

I sighed as he continued to eat, I got up and put my plate in the sink and walked back to the bedroom. After a while, Jack and Chris were taken to bed and Eddie was laying on the couch relaxing. I walked into the living room and saw him as if he never looked at me once. I wanted to move but my body wouldn't let me. I was frozen, as I placed my hands on my stomach, my body started to feeling like it was shaking. I stood there still as my body continued to visibly shake. Buck knocked on the door and walked in.

"Hey Eddie." Buck said walking into the living room.

Eddie's POV

"Hey Buck." I said blankly while every thought can through my head.

"Buck.." I heard a whisper, ignoring it.

I saw Buck go into superhero mode. I watch as Buck picks up Kacey off the floor as she visibly shakes in his arms. My emotions were so far gone that I didn't care anymore. I watched as he took her to her room and he came back out.

"What the hell man??" Buck asked growing upset.

"What?" I asked blankly.

Buck balled up his fist and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, practically carrying me outside. I felt his fist hit me across the face, and continue to swing his fist in my direction. I stood there and took all the punches and throws thrown my way. Buck spat in my face as he pushes me down, rushing back inside to his twin's side. I laid in the lawn bleeding, slowly rolling over and groaning as I stood up. I walked back inside going to the guest bathroom fixing my own wounds up. I heard a gasp from behind me seeing Kacey in the mirror as she stood in the doorway. Kacey had a worried expression on her face as she looked at my bandages. Buck was sitting on the couch as I pushed passed Kacey.

"I can see when I'm not wanted around." I said going for the door.

"No Eddie, please don't leave. What is going on?" She asked begging me to stay.

"Sorry Kacey, I can't stay. I'm not stable enough to be here right now. I'm not even stable enough to tell you the truth." I said leaving her behind at the doorway.

I got in the truck and drove away back to Anna's house. I knocked on her door and as she opened the door. I kissed her knowing it was wrong, but I didn't care anymore. "I don't know Kace, maybe he went to cool off or something. He'll come back, he can't forget about Chris." Buck said.

"He wasn't even stable enough to tell me the truth!! What if he never loved me? What if I have to raise these twins on my own? What if he's cheating on me?" I started doubting everything I ever knew about Eddie.

Buck held me close to him as I started to cry with my head on his shoulder. Buck stayed with me the whole time until he heard the front door open to Eddie walking in like he just had the best sex in his life. I was fast asleep in Buck's arms as he looked at Eddie in disbelief and disappointment. Eddie looked him in the eyes and knew what he had done. He walked back to the bedroom and went to bed. Buck stayed the night at my house for the next few days to keep an eye on Eddie.
