Sam's father heard her slam the door and run up to her room and he followed her and opened her door to her room, "sam you ok?" Sam was crying and looked up at him "marks horrible daddy I hate him!!" Her father nodded "I'll give you your space" with that he turned and walked downstairs. Sam threw the doll on the floor and suddenly a voice recording started to play, it was marks voice. "Hey sam...I know you probably don't like the fact that I always leave early or never say I love you...but I have never been able to bring myself to do it...you see I always leave early because I have cerebral cancer, and I leave to take an oxygen test to see if my heart and whatnot are still working right. As to of why I never say I love you is because I don't believe I'm good enough for you. You deserve better. I love you sam and every doll I gave you has a recording in it if you didn't already know." Sam ran and started playing all the voice recordings and everyone of them had marks voice saying I love you to how many times she said it to him. Suddenly there was a knock on her door and she looked out the window.
It was mark. She started to run down but her father answered the door "get out of here. My daughter wants nothing to do with you." Mark merely nodded and turned walking away, sam ran past her dad and called for mark who was half way across the road. "Mark!!!" Mark turned around but he didn't notice the man who was drunk, driving 20 over the speed limit of 25. When he opened his mouth to speak he was hit by the car and thrown 12 feet into the neighbors yard, the man didn't stop. Sam ran to marks side and was bawling her eyes out "MARK!!!!" When she got to him, he was barely awake and he smiled up at her "hey sam....I love you..." She was crying and he wiped away one of her tears. "I'm so sorry...don't die please mark I love you..." Mark smiled gently and wiped away another tear "don't cry...s...sam,..." With that his eyes closed and his hand fell to the ground.
